plasma on a non airconditioned room
« on: Aug 22, 2009 at 11:19 PM »
hi sirs/ma'am,

just want to ask if there's going to be issues when a plasma (42 or 50) is placed on a non-airconditioned room, e.g. sala?

i am sorry if this was discussed on another thread...i couldn't seem to find it...

thanks so much!

I dont think there's going to be an issue as long as your room is well ventilated ;)

those plasmas have their own fan inside just like an amp, when it gets too hot it will turn on...no need to worry.

that's a good idea.  the panel itself (screen) gets pretty hot ... i guess it will only help.

A non-airconditioned room must not hinder you to enjoy a plasma viewing experience basta make sure that:
1) If wall mounted, make sure that there is a proper spacing between the wall and the plasma tv since the vents are located at the back (as for my panny plasma)
2) proper ventilation of the room. Electric fan lang ang katapat nyan kaibigan.
3) The Plasma TV must no be put directly to sunlight. kahit LCD nde pede mababad sa araw. ;)

Go for it bro! and enjoy it!

i also put a stand fan at the back of  Panasonic 42C10 ... i also put electric fan for bigger size display panel .. i guess less internal heat helps
