Nope some only supports upto 85Hz.

Anyway, as per my reading refresh rate does not apply to LCDs. The equivalent of a refresh rate on an LCD monitor is the frame rate, which is usually set as 60 Hz.

The technology used in LCDs like 120Hz is actually a frame rate and doubles the standard LCD frame rate which will have an effect of Motion interpolation.

The LCD feature of xxxHz is not a refresh rate but a frame rate and technicall called Motion interpolation.

I bought a 50 inch Toshiba projection TV for 150,000 a few years back.
Then a Hitachi 42 inch SD plasma for 192,000!! not too long ago.
Sa third TV ko this year I got a 65 inch Sharp aquos Full HD LCD for 160,000. Siguro naman medyo nakabawi-bawi ako sa natalo sa first two.

Ganun talaga. Next year, 70-inch LED na mabibili mo for that price. A few more years, that money can buy 70-inch OLED.

Php 160,000,for a 65" Sharp LCD, this seems hard to believe. But certainly a possibility if you bought it in the US and have it shipped here. AFAIK, the biggest Sharp LCD sold or available locally is a 52" (LC-52A77M) @ Php 169,998.00

Why regret? that's the price of being among the first in the neighborhood to enjoy new technology. Parang DVD lang yan. Get the the new release at P895, but don't regret when you see it on sale at P250 six mos later.

I bought it in the US and shipped it through a relative retiring here.
The newer model is even CHEAPER! the Aquous 65" 120hz is only $2772 NO TAX AND FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING. Thats only PHP 131,000. Di ba nakakaiyak?
You just have to be resourceful in the shipping part.

Mukhang pababa na yung nga presyo ng tv. Ngayon 20,800 na lang sa western (mkt/pasay road) yung
32c10 nila. 40K yung 42c10. In a few months laki pa na discount dyan. (sana)

para laking tipid.
