Hi Sir Vic, been reading through the different lcd posts in pinoydvd.  Initially, I had my eyes set on toshiba.  But after reading some nice reviews of other brands, I feel that I should also consider others before I make my purchase.  In this regard, could you kindly post or pm me the different brands and prices for lcd's from 26 to 47 inches. Thanks again. Your posts are a big help.

Andami ko atang tanong. ;) Looking forward in buying in SnS. Salamat!

Price update for the Avision 42al69 (yes, yung 42inches na may 120hz motion flow)

Place bought: Electronics Botique Park Square
Date Purchased: Saturday, September 11, 2010
Purchase Method: BPI Cred Card (Straight)
Price: P40500
Promo: Free 22inch Avision LCD and wall mounts for BOTH LCDS

Question to other owners of this super bang for the buck unit:

do the NEWER al69 models of the 42 inch avision still have 120hz real motion?
i tried searching for how to turn on and off this featue on the tv's menu but i cant seem to find it.
ive also backread several threads on the subject pero i still can find the 'mjc' option from the TV's menu...

need help on this asap. and thank you in advance for any assistance you may extend.

Attaching PM i sent to another member that other members may give feedback to:

Hello there!

I was hoping you can help me with my Avision 42al69 as i can see that you also own the same model sir...

The al69 models of the 42 inch avision has 120hz real motion, diba?

i tried searching for how to turn on and off this featue on the tv's menu but i cant seem to find it. mjc option ba yun?

ive also backread several threads on the subject pero i still can find the 'mjc' option from the TV's menu...

Will this real motion feature work depending on the source of the movie your playing? does thwe video need to be 1080p format po ba?

Hoping you can help me as i cannot appreciate the 120hz real motion feature of our TV as of yet. :(

Nung saturday ko lang ito nabili sa electronics botique sa park square. P40500 straight cc payment with the free 22 in lcd avision tv.

LG 32LD460 at AV Surfer Festival @25k flat, cash add 12k something for the HT805pm.
the oversized plasma was priced at 56k with free 32LD460, not bad.

Their Toshiba 32AV700 was priced at 23k something with free dvd, I told them that one store in Shangri-La sells it for 19k cash minus the dvd player. Then the man said, "Kasi sir samin sigurado kayo na straight from the manufacturer, authorized dealer kami, sure kayo sa warranty. Dun sa ibang store hindi kayo sigurado dun."----nako lagi na lang ganito naririnig kong dahilan pag mas mahal ang paninda ng mga av stores. I walked out of the store the moment I heard it.

pero in fairness, 25k ung 32LD460 sa kanila, kung malapit lang din naman location sa alabang, mukang mas convenient bumili dun. Sana lang me discount pa sila sa mga bundles nila. the HT805pm that they are selling is, i think, same price with SNS.

Hehe...all our Samsung, Panasonic, Sony, Toshiba, Pioneer, LG, AVision come with official local Manufacturers' warranty. We always remind customer to bring home warranty certificate to assure that the TV purchased is covered with local Manufacturers' warranty.

Although our 32LD460 is also at cash P25k, our promo for HT805 is just add P10K (not add 12k as what other shops offered).

I hope our statement will encourage you to buy electronics from us:

Sights and Sounds is committed to quality service

At Sights and Sounds, we deliver (delivery is not free on distance area) and install Plasma / LCD TV on the same day by our qualified technicians.  We can promise this because, unlike many stores that rely on manufacturing company for limited service, we employ our own in-house knowledgeable technicians and installers, who are ready for the assigned job.

We install your TV with absolutely free of charge on the following: we mount TV on the table top, hook it up with cables from TV to any source, twik your TV to produce the right image brightness, colors, and contrast, pre-set your cable station TV program, and patiently guide you through in TV operation, Yes, there may be charges for mounting bracket, cables or other accessories, but not for the basic installation service we just mentioned.

Once your flat panel TV is fitted you can also be sure that we won’t leave it at that.  In the unlikely event that that you experience a problem, such as changes in cable programming, our technical will still be there to do another round of TV service, even if he needs to pre-set your cable TV program again.  Also Sights and Sounds will replace TV with dead pixel--even just one dead pixel. Many sellers do not back their sales this way but to refer their customers to manufacturer guaranty service.   If services not covered by guaranty, it is down to the customer to find service agent who will help them.

Service is just as important as buying the right flat panel TV.  Surely service is one you can count on at Sights and Sounds.

Here is another issue that you may want to consider before you decided to buy your dream TV from another shop:

Most people shop for a TV by going to the big appliance store and walking down a row of dozen of models, comparing the picture quality and their price range.  They then choose the one that the salesman (promodiser) convince them to get.  When they bring home the set, they soon discover that its picture quality bears little resemblance to the way it looks at the store.  That’s because he had chosen a TV set that was deliberately miscalibrated by the manufacturer for it to be competitive on the showroom floor.  He was attracted to a TV that looks good on a demo with vibrant high resolution picture, but looks fuzzy on a movie with dark scene and in fast motions.

The dilemma now is, after a week purchased, can he still change his TV? If the size is not right for him, can he still upgrade it for a bigger size. Yes or no answer will depend on how close your relationship with the salesman, or maybe the manager.

At Sights and Sounds, members come to us for easy transaction, cause yours truly is also your fellow member. We have testimonial of many members do the exchange and upgrade. Their experience was TV upgrade and exchange are easy to negotiate. This is how we take care of our forum members.  :D

- sir vic, latest promo niyo po ba ito? kasi yun pong 12.5k eh nakita ko lang sa pricelist na sinend niyo sa akin (sept 12, 2010), so i thought yun ang latest price. anyway, kung mali ako, my bad, sorry :)

Sir,

Since you mention the dead pixel, in my case i dont know if itsa dead pixel every time i change a channel.
Theres something that goes black sa lower left portion of the screen. Is that a dead pixel maybe you can schedule me for a visit to check it and also i have problems with regards to my cable programming, puro local channels lang ang lumalabas wala yung cable channels tapos pag manual scan mo yung cable channels, hindi ganun kalinaw. Can you please help me with my dilemma. Just my got my panny from you store 2 weeks ago.

If you want more details i can give it to you just e-mail me.
Thanks and more power!!!!

"Although our 32LD460 is also at cash P25k, our promo for HT805 is just add P10K (not add 12k as what other shops offered)."

- sir vic, latest promo niyo po ba ito? kasi yun pong 12.5k eh nakita ko lang sa pricelist na sinend niyo sa akin (sept 12, 2010), so i thought yun ang latest price. anyway, kung mali ako, my bad, sorry :)

Yes, latest cut price from our side to make it better deal for buyers, especially the pinoydvd memebrers.  :D

Yes, we can do installation on the latter date. There's no time limit. However, installation now for LG is with charge of P999.

There are still several new models coming like LD650 and 3D big sizes. Will advise here once the new models are available.  :D
