Old model like 42X10 and 42C10 are not as reflective as the new models. You may want to consider the old models.

A lot of Tvs outhere sold in malls are not latest models. But it doesnt mean they are not good or worse. I would take an obsolete pioneer kuro over these latest models anyday.

guys.. medyo off topic.. but ayaw ko napo gumawa ng bagong thread... na magpapagulo pa sa forums natin.. sainyo nalang po ako magtatanong... ito napo kasi thread nakita ko pinaka close sa itatanong ko

habang bumababa price ng LED, ganoon din sa LCD. LCD will always be cheaper than LED. it's just the way they're made.

if you're not an expert, no access para buksan yung unit and if the lcd's not slim, i'm guessing it's almost impossible to tell. what you can do is get the model and google it. if walang maayos na label yung unit, hindi ko na pagaaksayahan ng pera yun.

but sa china po kasi same na ang puhunan ngayon sa generic lcd and led tvs? pag magoorder ng oem on smaller panels... ang sabi sakin is mafafaceout nadaw lcd.. because manufacturing them is actually more expensive than manufacturing led backlit tvs...
kaya lang po ako ask.. kasi.. alam mo na sa china madaming kalokohan.. baka ito specs.. pero ito pala binibigay.. hehe

two of the things you actually for branded electronics (e.g. LG, Samsung, Sony, Toshiba, etc.) is their quality check/assurance and after-sales service. without those, much much cheaper of course ang components lang.

batukan nyo yung nagsabi sa inyo na maffaceout ang lcd haha. just think, nawala na ba ang CRT monitor/tv's?

no idea about manufacturing cost, pero i would think it's easier to setup a few CCFL backlights (for the regular lcd tv's) than to test hundreds and thousands of LED backlights.

btw, bakit po concern ang china? sa china ba kayo bibili or dito sa pinas? or will you buy the components and build your own?

i do buy stuff kasi from china po.. minsan sinasabay ko sa containers items... actually.. i previously bought 3units lcd tv na before.. kayalang.. pag dating.. may naging unexpected problem... hehe walang ntsc ang tuner... pal lang... but.. ok lang naman... price is a fraction... im planning to buy lang po sana uli...

their panels actually are chimei for 32inch below and lg above 32" standard according to them. madami options for the panels.. meron pa sila sinasabi... and meron din daw better panels for additional cost. but these sales reps from china.. aren't the most honest people in the world... kaya i want to ask lang po.. hehe if there is a way to check if it is really led... of thin lcd lang.. just like the old scarlet LH70.

yes ofcourse iba parin ang branded... actually i want to buy branded but these chinese company's prices are just very very irresistable...
