From the threads, it seems the consensus among many is that the Toshiba 42 XL700 is one of the best LED TV's available.

I want to ask, now that LG has released the LV5500 series--if the LG 42 LV5500 has features that are up to par or better than Toshiba XL 700.

Pricewise, it seems the newly released LG LV5500 will be more expensive than the XL700.

To the PinoyDVD community and Toshiba XL700 owners, and soon to be owners of LG LV5500 series, let me know your experience and opinions about the new 42 LV5500? Is it an equal to the Toshiba XL700 or does the 42 XL700 still take the top spot among LED backlighted LCD TVs?

Aside from the Samsung PS51D490 / 491 and LG 50PW350, ano pa bang other 3D plasma tv's (50 inches and above) ang maganda at sub-60K price levels?

Sorry about that. Marami rin kasi posts sa thread na ito about models and prices kaya kala ko ok lang. Anyway, i keep following this thread so i can be updated of prices in Manila before I go there. Medyo mas mahal kasi dito sa Davao.

I'm from cebu and i'm interested getting a pana 42x30 from your outlet since it's only 30k from your side. Here in cebu that plasma model would cost me from 35k to 42k with such a huge disparity. With that said please pm me all the details(i.e. freight cost, leadtime,how would i pay?) and btw i preferred spot cash scheme.

Panasonic TH-P42X30 at P29500. We do delivery via LBC air. Delivery time is 2 days. Freight is P2500.

I don't know if it's true. Tinext ako ng friend ko kanina, me 2 Day Sale daw sa S & R Macapagal, buy 1 take 1 daw ang 32" LED LG LV2500 for Php 26,000. Me free wall brackets and bbq grills and comes with 2 years warranty un LED TV. Wala nga lang ako time to verify.

mga sir, help naman po, pa pm nmn po ng latest price list ng 40 at 42 LCD HDTV, pakisama na din po ng mga packages at freebies. Plan ko po bumili next month. Prefer ko sana sony or toshiba pero budget ko is around 35k lang. For viewing lang po ng local channels at DVDs.

Saw a half-page advertisement by LG yesterday (Philippine Daily Inquirer)

May promo sila for the LG 42 LW5700: From Php 99,990, they're bringing the price down to Php 69,990! The promo will run from Aug. 27 to Sept. 4, 2011. Hopefully, kasama pa din yung dating freebies (X-Box, Kinect, BD player, etc), kasi it wasn't mentioned at all in the ad, not even in the fine print.
