Led TVs are basically LCD TVs with led back lights, instead of ccfls. In ads, leds are indicated to inform buyers that the backlights are led and not florescents. LCD is the panel type.

If it says "LED LCD" --- it means it's an LCD screen with LED backlight.

All consumer "LED TVs" are LCD TVs with LED backlights. None of them are real LED TVs.

It was Samsung that coined the term "LED TV," and it's likely that they were aware the terminology was wrong and misleading, yet they went ahead and used it anyway.

In 2009, the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) ordered Samsung to re-word their ads, on the ground that the term "LED TV" is misleading:

I saw that your 42" LG LS5700 has a freebie Skype cam! swabe! baka pwede magretroact sa akin yang freebie na yan. :p sayang i bought mine last july. dapat pala naghintay ako konti. :p

The LG is the one giving the Skype camera kasi. The freebie promo should come from LG. Sorry, LG is not serving their freebie promo to previous purchased TV.

Talked to a robinsons rep. Halos nauubos agad but he commented na Hindi NOS. Kaya Pala me universal remotes na kasama. Some units have no remotes. Possibly display units. Wala namang other clarifications on this sale posted.
