sir im choosing between lg 42lm6200 and panny 42" vt30, nu kya mas ok i will be using it mostly for cable tv viewing, movies and gaming p? tnx

Plasma still performs best in TV broadcast and movie presentation. Plasma delivers less picture noise on TV. It also offers accurate color (better skin tones than LCD / LED), deeper black contrast. Furthermore, the 600Hz sub-field drive provides natural motion flow.

Vic, would you recommend a Samsung 40EH5000 for a bedroom which is dark even at daytime? Di ba masakit sa mata? Image quality wise, is it comparable to a 42x50 or PS43E450? Is the plasma's IQ really far from the 40eh5000?

I'm contemplating on getting the LED tv to save on power charges.

Although Full array Samsung 40EH5000 is now comparable to plasma light intensity (almost same brightness as the plasma), the EH TV still cannot capture the kind of rich color and natural contrast of the plasma, especially of the Panasonic VT30 Neo plasma TV. The contrast simply provides greater depth of field to the image presentation. You get to enjoy the cinema experience when watching plasma.

Plasma has the average of 160 watts power consumption while full array has about 87 watts.

You have to look at this way: if you want to enjoy good car like B&W or Porche, you need to spend high-octane expensive gasoline. To appreciate good picture presented by plasma TV, you also pay more for the electricity.
