KIMMY DORA

;D Saw this tonight in Glorietta. Grabe! I had a blast watching this very, very funny film. Though the plot was silly, it was coherent and cohesive and never corny. Kudos to Joyce Bernal. And the cinema was full packed and there was a long winding line outside after the movie ended. Word of mouth really worked for this film.

Eugene Domingo was impeccably good and she has indeed arrived.  I see her as the "intelligent" counterpart of Ai Ai Delas Alas and given the right material and director (no no no to this Deramas pls!) she could pull it off again..

Got a very good review from my sister who watched it as well. Will try to catch it on a weekday.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching this. It's really Eugene who made this film work! But of course, credit should also go to Ariel Ureta and the rest of the cast. I agree with oggsmoggs' review, though, that they could have done without the cheap special effects.

One of the funniest gags was when Dora tried to be Kimmy!
Dad: Anak, nagda-drugs ka ba?
Dora as Kimmy: I'll look into it!I'll get back to you! I'll give you an update!

Saw this also last thursday. Di-nate ko wife ko. Super happy sya and I enjoyed it as well. Surprising din kse it was a fast paced movie un-typical of a local movie.

Sana dumami pa ang ganitong local movie.  Bravo!!!
