Looking for Documentary DVDs
« on: Sep 16, 2009 at 10:40 AM »
Hi, I'm new here.

I was browsing through the different threads and I'm looking for some documentaries that are available locally.

So far I have BBC's PLanet Earth, Blue Planet and Life of Mammals. Are there other BBC releases available in video stores that I missed?

I also have I-Witness releases like Ten Years of Howie Severino, Best of Jay taruc and Best of Sandra Aguinaldo. Plus the Best of Iwitness Volumes 1 and 2.

I'm looking for other documentaries. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much!

BBC:
State of the Planet
Lost Cities of the Ancient
Day that shook the world Vol. 1 & 2
Earth Story
All those WWII documentaries from BBC

all those Discovery DVDs from Magnavision

Most Astrovision has a section reserved for documentaries.  Go to one located in one of the more fashionable mall (ie Trinoma, MOA, Megamall, Robinsons Place Manila, etc), they tend to have a better selection than malls where there is less foot traffic.
