Saw the S81 today at Abenson. Same price ng S71. I'll get that one na lang since it's cheaper. And I might be able to join your group buy if you'll do that this May. Magkano kaya lowest price na maibibigay nila? Para ma-estimate ko kung abot pera ko ng mid-May. ;D

If same price with the S71, you can haggle it upto 52k in Western Megamall..

R81b > S81 right?

hows the pic quality ng s81 compared sa r81? how much sya exactly? 60k? may freebies din ba?  thanks!

yes i also saw the s81.  specs-wise it's very impressive.

2 hdmi ports
7000:1 contrast ratio

i saw it in electroworld/abenson waltermart e.rodriguez but they're pricing is waaay screwed up .  r81 there is 99, and the s81 is 79

Just for a heads up peeps.

I went to Ambassador Greenhills awhile ago and the chinese lady priced me the Samsung 32" R81b for P57,540 cash and the Sony Bravia 32V200A for P73,000 in cash also. I think it can still be lowered upto 55k for the R81b and 70k for the V200A. :D

Im planning to get one already, the only thing that is stopping me from buying is the Group Buy this coming May because Im sure big discounts will be given to us and lesser cash for me to scam. Hehe

yup, its true na may lalabas na 37" ang R8. 32, 37 and 40. astig to! meron na SRP ang R8 sa samsung phils website, 69,900 pero yung 37" wala pa, yung 40" 149,900. astig nga itong R8 bang for the buck! :)

Sir ung cash price ba na 57,540 sa samsung r8 series wala na kasamang home theater? My dad and i also went to ambassador shangrila and they price us 58K but without the home theater.

ako rin pa sama. i saw at listening room mega ung Toshiba regza 32WL66E for 49,450 paid in cash with free toshiba dvd player.

is it true ung sabi nila na ung mga contrast ratio ng mga samsung (5000:1 ++) is way overexaggerated? Sabi nila mga LCDs around 1500:1 (at that point, I would have believed them if they carried any Samsung)

ano pa ba okay na LCD? I already have the R71 32" ng samsung, okay ba ung R81 series?
