guys, question lang uli, I'm getting an offer for Sony 32s200a (with free HTIB DAV-DZ150K and a headset mdr-if140k) for 49k....

tanong ko lang kung ok ang sony 32s200a compared to my original choice na samsung 32r81. Napansin ko kasi na ang layo ng contrast ratios (1300:1 vs 8000:1) and 1 lang hdmi input ng sony. Nabasa ko din na analog lang ang tuner ng sony?

malaki matitipid ko sa sony, kasi gusto ko rin mag bundle ng HTIB set pag samsung kukunin ko, pero sulit ba savings vs performance? tnx :)

dynamic contrast po yung sa samsung. multiply mo ung contrast ratio ng s200 by 5 pra mkuha ung dynamic contrast nya... 1300*5= 6500:1 ung dyanamic contrast ng s200... uhmmm.. tunkol nman po sa r81, para sakin msgus2 ko po ung performance ng r81.. walang laban ung s200 dun...

Where did you get the 49K offer for Sony S200a with free HTIB? Last Sunday sa Sogo Glorietta, I saw a Samsung LA32S81B  and Sony 32S200a side by side showing Shrek 2. I was really impressed with the PQ of Sony and more detailed pa sya vs. the Samsung model. Check it out for yourself. I don't know lang if compared to the LA32R81B model.

arjay24, ah ganon ba? standard ba talaga ang pag multiply ng 5 to get the dynamic ratio? kasi kung 6500:1 na ang sony, then hindi naman sila nagkakalayo ng samsung. Ang magiging difference nalang is yung number of hdmi input, etc.

btw, mas maganda ba ang dynamic ratio compared sa contrast ratio lang (assuming na 6500:1 din yung samsung, at 1300 yung sony)... sa pag kakaalam ko dynamic contrast ratio mas advanced ata dahil mas flexible yung contrast niya?

also, can you share more kung bakit mas maganda ang performance ng r81 than s200a?

I think it was Ansons... it was offered to my aunt, who was canvassing the prices for me. Maganda and cheap sana yung package ng Sony, but I haven't seen the performance yet, compared to the R81.

Masmganda ung r81 kasi msmganda ung color nya compared sa s200a.. sa tingin ko nga masmganda pa ung s81 kesa sa s200a e..  ung sony s200a kasi prang patay ang kulay..

Mgkano ba ung ba ung budget mo?

maganda kasi offer ng sony, 49k kasama na HTIB and Headset na wireless... yung samsung naman, 54k + 5k additional HTIB, kaso gusto ko yung may HDMI na and Optical In, so +15-25k pa ata yun sa 54k. Kaya tinitignan ko kung sulit yung matitipid ko sa Sony, in terms of quality and longetivity. Isa lang kasi HDMI ng sony, and parang mas maraming features yung Samsung :)

I just came from SM Appliance MOA and the sales guy offered me Toshiba 42 a3000e for 95k cash with free tv rack, delivery, installation.
Is this a good deal?

Sobrang na tempt ako bumili kaso lang out of the country ako after 2 months kaya sayang.

The guy also offered me the plasma na 42" nga pala. 42 WP66E older plasma model for 90k free tv rack, delivery installation.

It seems na hindi na matutuloy yung June group buy.  Why not move it to December, so I can join too.  Also, 32" LCD prices may well be in the sub 40 mark.

Check Ansons makati. The new Sony LCD TV model 32v300 was offered to me for 60K (cash), with free HTIB and wireless headphone.

The specs sa local  sony website ng Sony 32V300A ay 1080p na sya. Wala pang SRP. Para ngang too good to be true ang P60k price offer ng Ansons.

sir i think it means 1080p ready. You can input a 1080p signal but the LCD will still convert it to its native resolution, notice the native resolution is still the same as 1080i/720p LCDs. 1366x768 pixels padin. AFAIK in order to be true HD you need a native resolution of 1920x1080.

i just recently bought my samsung 32r81 lcd at uhhmm more than 25% discount.. cash of course

granted it was limited stocks and i had to pass thru some samsung philippines contacts and was extremely lucky.

it just shows a little patience and some researshing helps :)

the kicker part was.. the unit is a "declared display" unit.. doesnt really matter to me.. since the 32r81b has only been in the market for like.. uhhmm 3 months or so.. and i still got full warranty.

last i checked.. they've got samsung 42 inch plasma's at below 70k with haggling and 10,000 contrast ratio...but im not famillair  with samsung plasma's so i didnt grab it.

the rest of their "current" stock are 42 inch r71b's and r51b's im pretty sure you can them near the 40% to 50% mark.

they also, got audio systems, refs and aircon. but they all appear to be display or refurbished models or old models.

if you live in the cainta area or pasig area, i can take you guys their over the weekend. and no they don't take cash or installment.
