Two and a half years later, the DALLAS reboot is hitting the air in a few hours.

If you have some spare time, they have an app on their official site that casts YOU in the show, and randomly chooses three of your Facebook friends as your co-stars. It's weird, but hilarious - you appear in the opening credits of the show.

This is so over-the-top with its plot twists that it rivals RINGER, but so far it's still logical. I want to see if they can keep it up without it becoming as silly as that show did.

For one thing, whoever is behind the Dallas 2011 reboot must've took their tabs from the showrunners behind Hawaii Five-0.

1) Never mess with an iconic theme tune
2) Dallas ain't Dallas without J.R. Ewing and his Stetson, just as Hawaii Five-0 ain't Hawaii Five-0 without "Book 'em, Danno!!!"

Here's hoping that the addition of Desperate Housewives alums Jesse Metcalfe and Brenda Strong along with Fast & the Furious hellion Jordana Brewster would knock up the sexuality for the basic-cable crowd (at least in the USA)
