I dont think those kinds of scenes are suitable for 9 year olds, same na hindi rin suitable yung scene where the 2 cheerleaders were canoodling, or perhaps those scenes were the cheerleaders were getting high on the dentist chair.

Pero personally, mas na-shock ako sa recent show ng X Factor UK where they showed the background dancers's boobs getting touched by other dancers. - that was live TV.

Why is a kissing scene between two boys (or two girls) any way less approprate than a kissing scene between a boy and a girl? I'm sure children raised in gay/lesbian households would think this isn't a big deal.

Well, is daughter aware of the existence of homosexuals and that Kurt Hummel is a HOMOSEXUAL character? If she is, then I don't know what's wrong with talking to your daughter about it instead of shielding her from the realities of life. There are gays and there are straights, no big deal.

As for myself, I say: WELL, IT'S ABOUT F-ING TIME! I'm surprised it took this long for a boy-boy kiss in this show.

I very well know that she can identify a gay with a not. However what we are talking about here is the act of a boy to boy kissing. At her age...she is not expected that there is such a thing....and I don't think IT'S ABOUT F-ING TIME for her to see such things.  ;) At her age of 9, I think shielding her from this acts is still appropriate. My daughter is studying at a Catholic school and same sex kissing will never be acceptable to them. Not because this things happens now is that we will have to embrace it. When I was grownig up, I don't remember seeing similar acts to what I watch on TV, now if one will be exposed early that such thing happen and lets you think it is acceptable... then I wouldnt be surprised that one day they will try it and be les or gay one day.

Oh and if your daughter is any way, shape or form interested in the arts, well, she better get used to homos.

Oh yes..she is very much into it. Im pretty sure homo friends and community will come some day and I dont have a problem with that. I love my homo friends and I like them being around.  ;)

Simply because it is normal to see a boy and a girl kiss. When we attend lets say a wedding and the bride and groom kiss..we do not cover the eyes of our children. C'mon @Klaus....I do understand your point and I do not have any problem either with what you want to happen, but being a parent...we have a different POV and belief on how one's children should be brought up.  ;)

Okay ....Glee, initially it was intended for the youngs right?...similar to High School Musical, it was only later I believe that a PG advisory was flashed on the screen?

It was intended for teen audiences. It's very much a far cry from High School Musical. Right off the bat, there are darker edges, there's bullying, there's teen pregnancy, there's homosexuality and a scene where a teenage boy prematurely ejaculates in a hot tub...and that's just the first season. It WAS created by Ryan Murphy, the man behind Nip/Tuck. I don't know you mistook this for kiddie material until you saw the boy-boy kiss.

I don't actually watch it this time except for some parts of S1.  Yeah, we indeed mistook this series.

Moving forward, guess shows nowadays are becoming more daring..capturing all the sectors of society. Good idea.  ;)

Gwyneth Paltrow should guest star more often here. Heck, it's totally alright if she becomes a regular. But that would be impossible!  :D

I wish she had sang it CORRECTLY with the right words. I hate that darn radio edit! "Forget You" doesn't make any SENSE! You don't say to the man who stole your gf, "OH, FORGET YOU!"

Agree. That radio edit is for wimps. But Gwyneth makes me swoon. She and Jenna Ushkowitz.

Darren Criss, the guy who plays the gay teen Kurt is interested in from another school, is half-Filipino as it turns out.

Cast of Glee guested at the semi-final results show of the X-Factor UK last night (minus Kurt).

They can ACTUALLY sing very well - live!

The Cebu dancing inmates got mentioned in the Sue Sylvester Shuffle episode (the post-Super Bowl episode). Will used it as a reason why the kids should perform MJ's "Thriller".

Ricky Martin to guest on Glee

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/glee-ricky-martin-lea-michele-278861

Quote
On Glee, Martin plays a musically-inclined Spanish teacher in an upcoming episode of the Fox juggernaut. The gig would see Martin headline two big musical numbers. Shortly after news surfaced that he may be appearing on the hourlong series, Martin tweeted, "I hear McKinley high has an opening for a Spanish teacher...Maybe I'll apply."

I haven't watched this show in 2 1/2 years, but I'm bumping this thread due to the death of Cory Monteith. May he rest in peace.

Finally watched my first episode in almost 3 years today, since I wanted to see the Finn farewell episode.

It was a good tribute. I had no idea who the kids who began singing Seasons of Love were, though.

http://youtu.be/ngxbwLYC1bw

I'm glad I tuned it tonight, but I'm not going to resume watching the show. I got already got closure.

Watched the Finn tribute episode as well, but I hadn't watched any Glee since the 2nd season.  Was the 1st episode of the new season about Finn's funeral and did they make a story about how he suddenly died?
