anyone here using yamj on their med500x?gagana lang ba yun sa sa movies na nakasave sa internal hdd?o puede din sya sa movies that are saved on my external hdd?

Gagana yun. All my files are on 2 X 2TB external, naka videowall sila lahat using y2m.

ok,thanks.i napagana ko na sya sa internal hdd.later ko na lang i configure yung sa external hdd.another question,by genre kasi ako kung mag run ng y2m,everytime i run another files or folders nadedetect pa din nya yung mga previous files ko.although parang check lang ang ginagawa nya sa older files time consuming pa din.is there a way para ma bypass nya yung mga previous files?thanks

When you add new movie files/folders sa genre folder, time consuming nga. do this... create a "new movie" folder inside your genre folder, put the new movie folders to be processed inside the "new movie folder". When you process the new movie file, just point your "source folder" in your Y2M setup to "new movie" folder then run y2m. Once processed, you can just transfer the whole movie older back in the main genre folder.

Yan din problema ko dati, but by doing so, di na dinadaanan yung mga luma.

guys sinubukan kong lagyan ng subtitle yung shutter island movie pero wala pa ring lumalabas na subtitle when i play the movie.i downloaded the subtitle sa subscene.com w/c is in srt file.tapos nilagay ko sya dun sa same folder ng movie.any suggestion?thanks

Hmmm, do check ..... subs should be named the same as the mkv file.

Minsan, it seems pareho na Pero may extra space that you won't notice.

So I normally cut the Mkv file name via a rename , copy text, cancel
Then rename the srt. Explorer XP is a good renamer btw, if you deal with loads of folder renaming .

I just noticed that there's a new firmware for 500X, dated November 30,2011. I already updated mine. I was formerly using the modified firmware available at the Mede8er forum. The modified firmware had very nice GUI but has some bugs with playback. When I flashed to the latest firmware 4.05 the playback bugs are no longer there it seems.

I have not updated mine with the latest available. Anyway, is there any cheap available usb wifi dongle(cdrking, etc) that can be used with the 500x? The stock dongle kasi was quoted at 1.3k. I moved my 500x to alocation where cabling is a pain. Tnx

Malaki ba ang difference ng 500x2 sa 500xl? I already have an external hdd na may movies, I am still undecided kung yung 200,300, or 500 yung kukunin ko.

I believe the local website is not updated. Look at www.mede8er.com instead. 500xl should be obsolete. So it's 500X2 vs 300X

I haven't seen a thread about the Med 300x in Pdvd, but seen some posts about the 300x here, so I might as well dito ko na rin itanong

I just dropped by EHome, and pretty much decided on the 300x. Staff told me pwede i-customize yung movie icons, synopsis and all, similar to 500x2. I've also read in some forums, that the 500X2's skin, incons, wallpaper, etc. can be changed too. Pwede rin kaya itong gawin sa 300x? Salamat mga sers!

Hope you can help me with my current problem...

I have an external hard drive connected with my Mede8er 500x... last night i was able to transfer some of my movies from that external hard disk into the hard disk in my Mede8er... Now, the folder "Movies" in my external hard drive was corrupted and i cant access all my movies in that folder anymore, even if i connect my external hard drive to my pc, it says that my folder is corrupted... How can i fix and access my movies from that corrupted folder? Please Help me... btw, all folders in that ext hardisk are accessible except for the "Movie" folder...

^^^ I already did bro, using HD Tune and my hard disk is still in excellent condition, no bad sectors.. iba pa ba yung check disk? cencia na di ako masyado techie e, hehehe..

Use a hard disk recovery program. I once lost all movies in my 2TB F4 spinpoint drive in an external enclosure. Ingat lang and be patient in recovery.

i forgot the specific program. My impatience resulted to failed recovery kasi ang taaagggaaaaaal ng recovery period lalo pag 2TB. However, please be wary of the resulting files recovered. I know there are also services offer sa TPC regarding file recoveries.

Hi! mga sir ask ko lang kung pwede bang gamitan ng 2.5" (Laptop HD) yung Mede8er 300x ko, i mean imbis na i.connect ko externally eh sa loob ko ilalagay, hinde ba masisira yung HD? kasi diba iba ata power requirements nung 2.5" sa 3.5"

6) Fixed -Open Media Browser, go to HDD, choose a folder with MP3 and start to Play it. Press HOME, select PHOTO Search (music plays in the background). Select first photo and press PLAY to start the Slideshow. Works with music background. Well. Press STOP - unit restarts !!!
7) Fixed - Go to Media Library, select any folder, ex. with movies. Set View Type to Movie (8x2 thumbs). Press HOME, switch to Photo Search. View Type is not updated, and you see photos in Movie-Type style, so 8x2 thumbs instead of 4x2. As mentioned before, change of view type for Music/Photo/Video Search modes is not possible, and normally player adjust it automatically when user switch search mode.
