Ok sir thank you! I posted my RAM na sa TPC.. hopefully mabenta agad.. hehehe.. Planning to get 8gb 2133.. Mas ok ba pag 8gb X 1 or 4gb X 2? And sa brand..ok ba Veloce Geil Evo Veloce? http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=24844199 compared sa GSKILL Ripjaws?

If buy naman ako card what would you recommend a card that can play remux vids and let's say yung pinaka mabigat iplay to avoid upgrading narin in the future? ok na po ba yung 7750 or GT 640? Thanks sir!

Dual channel ang ram kelangan nyan. So it has to be in pairs. Do you only have 1 stick? if yes you might as well get the same exact one.

Both cards can handle anything. nasa presyo lang yan.

yup there's no need as long as 2 sticks of ram ang gamit mo na.

Hi Sir Stagea... Thank you.. Sorry but medyo Newbie ako sa HTPC e.. I just bought my set-up last sunday.. How do I disable the driver post-processing? And about the software decoder? Is it the one like Open SVC Decoder? What does it do?

If I buy a dedicated video card, will it solve the problem?

Under vision engine control center go to video then quality. Turn down or disable the available options.

Hi Sir.. Yes.. 1 Stick lang sya currently.. Nagbuo kasi ako sa DynaquestPC hindi naman nila nagsabi sir na dapat dalawa..hehehe... I bought the 1866 4gbx2 na.. Nagimprove na yung performance.. Although GPU Load parin nya is umaabot ng 80% to 99%.. If I use PowerDVD Ultra 13 TrueTheater option turned on upto 78% to 92%..

Kaya pala... Grabe naman yung shop na yun di nila alam na dual channel ang kelangan. It should have been 2x2. Try to find solutions via settings sir. I highly doubt na hindi kinaya ng IGPU mo yan.

Make sure that you select the proper profile for your RAM, if your motherboard hasn't done so on its own.

If you want to reduce GPU loading during video playback, unclick use Automatic Deinterlacing, Color Vibrance, Flesh Tone Correction, Brighter Whites, Edge Enhancement, De-Noise, Mosquito Noise Reduction, Deblocking, Dynamic Contrast, and Enforce Smooth Video Playback. Then pull back the deinterlacing mode slider all the way to the left.

Even the 3D Application Settings can change GPU utilization depending on the playback application.

Another question... If magpostprocess ako using MADVR..May nakita kasi ako sa net na settings.. Jinc 3taps AR.. Would a GTX 660/7870 be an overkill?

Came across that guide a while back. Yan ang setup ko ngayon sa chroma, image upscaling options with JINC 3-taps mode with anti-ringing filter sa madVR renderer using a GTX 670 2GB.

Medyo mabigat din yung GPU load niya at ~60% load tapos since naka sagad lahat yung buffers at queue sizes so umaabot ng more that 1.5GB yung video memory utilization as indicated sa GPU-z lalo na sa 1080p videos. Naka-load din yung external 3DLUT calibration created with Argyll + MadVR and my SpyderExpress4 colorimeter. Activated din yung smooth motion frame blending hence the increased buffers and queue sizes.

Sutter galore yung HD4000 ng intel ivy bridge i5 ng laptop ko sa mga settings above. Long story short, worth it din bumili ng mid-range graphics card with more shader power in the long run and the results are excellent lalo na pag-upscaled yung 720P content parang native 1080p (as long as maganda yung encode) tapos yung smooth motion, tanggal yung judder ng 23-24fps videos like movies and anime sa 60hz monitor ko tapos di kasing bigat ng SVC frame interpolation.

Using DXVA2 Copy-back sa LAV video decoder at MPC-HC.

Ito pala advice for Radeon and intel graphics users I pulled off the web:

Quote
Tips for improving video quality
Thursday August 15th, 2013

This is a tip for anyone who has an Intel or AMD/ATI graphics card. These manufacturers enable certain video 'enhancement' features by default in their drivers. The problem is that those features actually reduce quality instead of making things better.
It is thus recommended to disable these features. This should improve both quality and performance. You can find the relevant options in the control panel of your graphics card. You can usually find a shortcut to that control panel by right-clicking on your Desktop. Options that you should disable are: "Noise reduction", "Adaptive contrast", "Dynamic Contrast", and "Edge Enhancement". The number of options and their names can vary depending on the Manufacturer and driver version. Visit our forum if you need assistence.
If you got a powerful graphics card then you could also try madVR in combination with MPC-HC. madVR is an advanced video renderer that is able to produce better quality than the standard renderers from Windows. Configuring madVR for optimal quality/performance can be a bit complex for novice users, so we only recommend using it if you got a decent amount of computer knowledge.

Based on my experience with my last radeon, totoo ito kaya pala yung matinkad yung kulay, may pixellation compression artifacts at crushed blacks ang ATi/AMD. Ang maganda sa Nvidia, although it looks bland out of the box for most folks, naka disable lahat ng enhancement sa driver by default so bahala yung user kung anong gusto niyan i-enable.

Mga sir okay ba ito pang HTPC:

Intel Pentium G2030 3.0GHz

G.Skill RipJaws 4gb ddr3 1333 CL9 (F3 1066CL9S 4GBRL)

lga1155 Gigabyte H61M DS2

Fractal Core 1000

or may iba pa much better?

Sa PSU I have no idea, need your suggestions too.

Bale may videocard na ako which is GT630, at saka HDD meron na din...

Need ko na lang CPU, RAM, Motherboard, PSU and Case.

I'm going to use it on Ripped Bluray Movies with Splash Pro, and will connect it to a 42 inch TV

8-10k budget

mas okay kaya itong AMD setup kesa dun sa intel build ko sa taas:

AMD FX 4130 3.8ghz Quad CPU

MSI 880GMS-E41

G.Skill RipJaws 4gb ddr3 1333 CL9 (F3 1066CL9S 4GBRL)

Corsair VS450 APFC, 450watts

Fractal Core 1000

Kasi nga I'm thinking of Splash Pro which can utilize a 4 core CPU.

do you have a spare hard drive?  (does not matter if the hdd worked on another computer)
try mo din interchange yung sata ports :)
or try to boot sa ROM with OS boot lang ha do not format and reinstall your OS:D
