I believe that there are more Sharonians in this forum takot lang sila to come out.

Kasi nga naman people think they are cheap and mababaw.

I know for a fact that most girls in my age group likes Sharon.  ;D

Maganda naman talaga ang boses ni Sharon at mahusay pang umarte.

Meron nga ako ng double disk album niya, yung latest collection of songs from  the last two decades. Napa autograph ko pero nagkamali sa pangalan ko!

Why ? Most people I know are afraid to say they like Nora. And those who like Sharon most of the times ridiculed the Noranians .. and not just fans of Sharon.

If that was signed by SC herself, then that album might be worth a lot of money now.
Maybe you need to have it appraise. Padala mo agad kay kakabanas!   ;D  ;D  ;D

One of the VERY few Sharon movies I saw was Biktima, heck not even sure if the title was right. I thought it was good though. I hate it when she tries to modulate her voice when she's crying or shouting or being angry. Maybe my liking of the movie has something to do with Bembol Roco ... an underappreciated actor but someone I would consider a lot better than Christopher de Leon and Philip Salvador given the chance. Does he even have any statue to show for it ?

she played a lawyer in Biktima right? methinks it was her dumbest role. imagine falling for the party she was supposed to be prosecuting. the final sequences were hilarious.

Huh ? Di ba ito 'yung naagrabyado siya ni Christopher de Leon and Bembol Roco helped her out to exact vengeance ? If not, I must be talking of a different movie. Help us out here Noel ...   :'( :'( :'(

Kakabanas, the Sharon movie with Christopher de Leon and Bembol Roco is called Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita.

Just like Christopher de Leon, Bembol Roco also won Best Actor with his first movie. The two are Brocka discoveries, Christopher in Tinimbang Ka Ngunit Kulang and Bembol in Maynila sa Kuko ng Liwanag.

Isnt JR a Sharon movie (with Rowell and Miguel?)?  If so, thats a good one.  And a nice soundtrack to boot!

No, it's not a Sharon movie. JR is with Rowell and Gabby.
Absolutely no regrets!

It's probably been asked before but I still wonder why MY ONLY LOVE is the only Sharon Cuneta movie not available on VCD/DVD? I've seen the clips of the movie when GMA is promoting it's new TV serialization and I believed there exists a copy. I like this movie's simple yet watchable plot which is now marred once again by airing as a SineNovela in GMA-7 coupled with uninspired casting. It's still in BETA format the last time I've seen this.

My Only Love starred Sharon & Gabby with Jackie Lou Blanco, Amalia Fuentes, Mario Montenegro & Liza Lorena directed by Eddie Garcia. this was Viva's 2nd film after P.S. I Love You...

"Simple yet watchable" is the best way to describe most of Sharon's films.  I kindda miss the simplicity of 80's movies.  Who starred with her on My Only Love?

I think the highlight of the film is when Jackie Lou found out about the same necklace Gabby gave to both of them. I believed the scene was in a fancy restaurant when Jackie uttered the famous line, "same bracelet...." Forgot the line though.

And yes Stray Cat, local movies then aren't what they're used to be, which is sad really.

Jackie's line was "nice coincidence ha Cindy? same bracelet... pareho din ba ang nakalagay?"

i like the movie in which she and aga were best friends and they ended up together after so many years. the other one is like is the one in which she had affair with richard gomez while she was married to edu manzano. Funny thing is that, both titles escape me at the moment.  :D

KUNG AKO NA LANG SANA is the one with Aga and MINSAN, MINAHAL KITA is with Edu. I think MINSAN is a nicely done movie of Sharon/Richard after many years. Their KAPANTAY ANG LANGIT is so-so for me. Both movies are entertaining to say the least.

This is the only Sharon movie that was not transferred on VHS/VCD/DVD.  (Not counting The Best of Sharon & Gabby na hanggang VHS lang.)  Even Sharon doesn't have her own copy of the film.  According to her, the original print of the film was among those burned when Viva (I think) office got burned.  However, thanks to my friend who is part of the MOL team on GMA, I got a converted copy on DVD.  'Yun nga lang, talagang may sort-of "scratches" na siya during opening and end credits.

Talagang 'yung orig beta format na lang malamang ang mayro'n ngayon from those who bought a copy during its release.
Absolutely no regrets!

Sorry to the hardcore Sharonians but she is not what she projects to be. Actually some stories are true like the alcohol handwash after shaking hands with fans.  I've witnessed it even smiling in front of people then minamaliit and pinipintasan yung fans na gustong makita lang siya up close.

Most if not all whom I know have worked with her all say the same thing she's "Tupperware" where you're as plastic as one can ever be and nang mamata ng tao, there are many true stories to be told.  She really puts up a good facade to cover up the real her.

Please note I have no favorites/biases here just posting to give you a picture to see, the real picture...

So true ctlim76 so true.  And she will lambast an innocent bystander who just happen to see her and would like to take a quick picture but she's smoking BIG NO NO no photos of her smoking can be seen....what will happen to her endorsements?  Decent? Far from it, even having nights out with a man after she married again... Personally I was shocked too that was too far although in showbiz it's common.  But with the image she projects it gives me goosebumps.  HOW COULD SHE!?? Making fools of everyone.  And imagine if Kiko runs for president and wins?  Sharon as first lady???? YIKES!!!

There were rumors before that gallons of alcohol was pour before Brocka shouted ACTION on the set of PASAN KO ANG DAIGDIG in Smokey Mt. where she made gulong amidst those trash with her fight scene with Vangie Labalan.

Maricel deserves a grand slam feat than her.

I highly doubt this. It is even highly likely that Sharon must be one of Brocka's babies/favorites. He did 3 movies with her (Pasan Ko ang Daigdig, Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita and Biktima) and an episode (Silid...which is Brocka's best work with her) of Tatlong Mukha ng Pag-Ibig.
