What is the amp?

Tubes can be biased a couple of ways depending on the design of the amp.
I went fishing the other day, and I caught a BIG ONE!

when you say bias in tubes, that may mean plate, screen or grid voltages.....depends on your circuit topology....
That's OK, you can like or dislike anything you choose. That's the wonderful thing about the freedom

807 is just like a 6L6 tube, it has the same iternal parts and characteristics, the only difference is in the plate caps and pins which makes the 807 usable at higher voltages than the 6L6.....
