I've had this player and I can say it's a decent player...I've thrown most of my movie files and all were accepted and plays smoothly .MKV, .VOB, .WMW, .AVI, .MP4, .RMVB, .M2TS.  Fast loading.

Quiet player, and design is nice elevating the whole unit enclosed in a whole Heat Zinc so to eliminate to much heat from the player. Was able to output digital sound DTS via Optical cable.  I don't have HDMI receiver thus cannot comment on DTS HD signals..

Although my 42" LG is Full HD, but only up to 60Hz i think it will be best to use this player on at least 100Hz Full HDTV.

It can also output 1080p/24p and is very useful in improving video quality in terms of contrast.
