saw a teaser for alias a little after midnight today on axn. it says it's coming soon.  hope it'd be sooner cause i tried watching it last night in abs and after hearing the first tagalog word off of jennifer garner's mouth, i immediately switched channel.

i hope they start it from the first season. it looks like they are gonna start it in the middle since they keep featuring the quentin tarantino episode. at least i have successfully downloaded the entire 2 seasons in mpg format and will make my own collection of Alias. Or maybe i should just erase it and wait for the DVD copies?

Hopefully, they won't show Alias from the middle. What we're seeing are teaser trailers anyway so of course they'll show the more interesting parts. Well, at least I hope so.  :)

Finally, Jennifer Garner without that awful, awful, awful Pilipino dub. WOOHOO   ;D

Same sentiments here.  Heard that Alias is a really good show but then ABS-CBC had to ruin it by dubbing it in tagalog.

Can't wait til April 1!

Should mark it down in my calendar lest I forget.

maybe we should link this to the Tagalized Shows thread. it seems people here dont like the tagalized Alias as much as i do.

good thing we can download the english versions here in the office. i din't have to suffer the dubbing.

Watching ALIAS is a blast - if you thought the first episode is excellent, prepare to be blown away in the next seven! Each episode from the second to the eighth end with a cliffhanger that'll leave you wishing the next installment would be shown the next day!

It reaches a high point in mid-season, then (IMO) slows down a bit, then gets back up again as it nears its first season finale! Needless to say (but I'll say it anyway), you guys are in for a ride!

To those interested, the first season DVD is coming out in September 2  ;D

This series is wonderful, no wonder Jennifer Gardner was so effective in her role in Daredevil, she has plenty of experience in Alias.

I cannot wait till this series is released on DVD.  ;D

It is better dubbed in English than Tagalog.

The soundtrack's pretty edgy.  Some notables:

Episode 1: No Man's Woman by Sinead O'Connor
Episode 2: This Woman's Work by Kate Bush

Both were played right after Sydney accomplished her mission.

Nice series.  Jennifer Garner is quite effective.  And purty too.

I just saw One-Hour Photo. Cool understated performance from Michael Vartan. That frontal nudity surprised me.

he he he... you and myself (and a couple of hundred of other people as well) were suprised with ya, indie... i was a bit shocked he agreed to go thru with it. i mean he's already somewhat of a star and has some clout already...  ;)

and yeah scully...  he went star trek all of a sudden and did time travel in felicity too. it happened in the last few episodes.  ;)

well, MV said in interviews na kebs naman daw siya sa nudity nya ~ madalas naman daw siyang nekkid sa locker room after his hockey games kaya oks lang. saka he felt that it was very short (the scene, i mean ;) ) lang naman. but if he was asked to walk a few feet while nekkid, he wouldn't do it daw.  mas naawa pa nga daw dun siya sa co-star nyang girl  :-\

ghastly! kakatakot talaga kung anung gagawin ni JJ sa Season 3  ???

Any info if that nude scene actually had any significance to the whole movie? Was it mentioned in his interview? Personally, I found the nude scenes a little superfluous.
