I have a question: Is there any Driver/Software to use your PC/Laptop to play your favorite music via USB (out) then convert it to either SPDIF going to your DAC Directly?

Right now I am using my PS3 using the PS3 Media Server to play my HDD music collection then output it to (coax) on my DAC.

TIA

i don't think you'll find a software solution for that since a cable with usb on one end and spdif on the other end doesn't exist.  i'm afraid a usb dac or converter, or an external usb sound card are the only option.
