Blazers management must be thinking (on taking oden over KD),

'wtf were we thinking?!' 

during the draft, the blazers really need a center that is why they got oden. in addition to this, I don't think KD will be able to grow this much as a player if he is under B. Roy's shadow.

I don't think drafting Oden over Durant was such a bad choice by the Blazers organization back then, about 27 of the 30 teams would have made the same pick that year. They just got a bit unlucky with Grandpa Oden's injuries. Oden was showing a lot of promise and was even leading the league in blocks before he went down last year.

good point bro, esp KD's growth being stunted if he were under BR's shadow.

greg odens case is a bit of misfortune, even before he shines, he got injured, it seems the injury was to tough on him, he never got the chance to be what he was expected to be.

i agree on the KD BR thing, BR is the top man for the blazers, i doubt it if KD would have enough playing time to show his sutff.

sometimes i feel there are players who just are not getting the nice end of the deal, injuries, accidents, playing time among others have deprived them of the oppurtunity to become legit superstars even if they are capable of being one.

talk about drazen petrovic, steve smith(never the same again when traded from hawks to spurs) and who is that guy from chicago who had a motorcycle accident? jayson williams, the tall point guard that became a journeyman

regarding oden being injured, if my memory serves me right, he was already injury prone before they even drafted him.minor lang naman (wrist) once you compare it sa leg injuries nya since coming to the NBA.

here's to hoping against hope that this year will be oden's year to come out and show everyone why he was drafted #1 overall.sana maka 82 games naman sya this year.

i would want to see this. Im not sure if i get to recall how he plays b ut it seems oden reminds me of shawn kemp in his heydays.

oden plays more like your typical bruising, defensive minded center, whereas kemp (in his halcyon days at least) was an above the rim player,and played little defense other than highlight reel blocks.

yeah bro, isa pa nga si yao na sana hindi wasted talent lang.his wheels can't take the weight of his upper body e.ano sya,more than 300lbs right?

yep.magaling daw talaga ang training staff ng phoenix e. look at shaq, during his time there e para syang nagka renaissance of a career

Really can't believe how Allan Caidic didn't make it to the NBA. I grew up watching him play and wow, unbelievable talaga shooting nya! And the thing is, he's got fast hands as well on defense. Quick draw in shooting and in steals. I love watching him during his NCC, Great Taste and San Miguel days.

Agree.  But 14 triples is not an easy feat especially when you've aged. And beating NBA shooters Rice and Richmond at that.   Siguro batak pa tong si Triggerman.  I really miss shooters like Caidic nowadays. Wala na tayong ganito lately.  No wonder we can't even win in Asia.  And maybe not known to many, an ex-PBA friend of mine said that in his heyday, Caidic is one of the "magulang" players ala Jawo and Mon Fernandez.  May tama ka lagi daw ng siko at tuhod kay Allan.

madali lng sir, may schedule tyo ng common time natin tpos mag-draft tyo... kailngan niyo kumuha ng
13 players lahat ng iffill up: PG G SG SF F PF C C UTL UTL BN BN BN.. tpos kailngan niyo sila lagay sa position nila un players n nakuha niyo kpag may laro sila (nakalagay sa fantasy page un schedule nila) tpos mag match up kyo with another GM. parang 1 on 1 ng GMs per week. maglalaban kyo ng stats: mapataasan or pababaan depende sa stats. ex. points, fg%, 3pt made, to, blocks, etc.. at the end of the week, may score un depende sa stats..
