re Ralph Sampson...that guy is one heck of a power forward at 7'4" (?). Too bad he blew out his knees very early in his career. Agree that Olajuwon was one of the best who played his position in terms of his unique skill sets however I dont think he is the best. Shaq, Russel, Kareem and Wilt in their primes will surely give Olajuwon a nightmare. The Dream is a finesse player and though when he met Shaq at the finals Olajuwon was already in his prime back then and Shaq was in the league for 2 years only. Had they both met while they were in their prime, the 1999-2002 Shaq version will just simply overpower the Dream.
if Kareem and the Dream (both finesse players) were matched up in their prime the Captain will just simply skyhook him to death. He aint the player with the most points in the NBA for nothing not to mention several MVP honors and several rings to boot.
Hehe..I beg to disagree
. Wilt and Russell are good, but they played against way smaller people back then night in and out. Plus they were the biggest blacks back then ;Don't wanna get racial pero pag 7 footer talaga mas magaling ang mga blacks.
That's why Wilt scored a 100 in a game imo
Russell to me team player siya. Shaq don't have the smarts and he stated himself (ata) Hakeem was the greatest hehe. Kung greatest center skillwise and overall, to me it comes down to Hakeem, Kareem and Moses Malone.
Ito lang,
Hakeem all time leader in blocks and number one in steals among all big men ever. Points and rebounds all big men can do that. Hakeem is also up there with those stats
. I just watched the Hakeem dvd, dang Phi slamma Jamma, those were the good ole days
. First few years sa nba, man he was dunking on everybody hehe
