the heat are so frontcourt, did you see bosh's defense, or lack thereof, in a simple pick and drive resulting a rajon rondo slaam dunk, imho one should give in and come as a 6th man, and haslem should start imho, either bosh came from the bench or play center.

3pts-FG Made by Phoenix against El-Ay, so far (with more than a minute left in the 3rd Quarter)...15...16...17...18...on 28 attempts, will it ever end? When it rains, it pours...19...20...21...22...New Franchise Record...All-Time record is 23x3FGM...

james have always been a big time scorer but a bigtime player, i doubt it.several non superstar in the nba can score bigtime if given the chance. james scores a lot of points and does sveral things more but as to when he does it is waht really matters to me as an observer. during last years playoffs, james is nowhere to be found when it matters most, he may end up with a lot of points at the end of the game but scoring when it matters most is something james have not convinced me, my personal opinion only.

james know how to score but to win? thats another story.

kobe during his younger years was touted as one dimensional and only cares to score and is not a a teamplayer. He still scores a bundle now but certainly more than a scoring machine, he has shown his willingness to win and carry his team when the going gets tough and has also done a lot of things for his team

anyone can SCORE BIG TIME, but not everyone can WIN BIG TIME

The Spurs are now 9-1 ... sana magtuloy-tuloy na ... sana makakuha pa ng, at least, isa pang championship ring ang Spurs, bago mag-retire si Duncan ... this is probably their last chance, in the Duncan era ... wala sana ang ma-injured sa mga players ... GO SPURS GO!!!

NOT AGAIN, Oden - Out for the Season ...

...Brandon Jennings (10/30 - vs. CHA - 20pts/10rebs/10asts)
...Kobe Bryant (11/3 - @ SAC - 30pts/10rebs/12asts)
...Pau Gasol (11/7 - vs. POR - 20pts/14rebs/10asts)
...LeBron James (11/9 - vs. UTA - 20pts/11rebs/14asts)
...John Wall (11/10 - vs. HOU - 19pts/10rebs/13asts)

...Stephen Jackson (11/20 - vs. PHO - 24pts/10rebs/10asts)
Kailan kaya si CP3 or maybe, Raymond Felton?

...Miami lost another game, to Memphis.
...I spoke too soon? Blake Griffin's stats line against the Knicks - 44pts, 15rebs, 7asts, 2stls, 1blk.
...And, YEAH!!! Another win for the Spurs, 11-1 (a franchise record). Go Spurs Go!!!

another heartbreak for Portland fans...Greg Oden is out for the season and quite possibly the organization as well since the Blazers have already announced that they are not extending an offer sheet to Oden. I feel for the guy. His body has let him down bigtime. On a more dire note..Brandon Roy's knee is believed to have gone out as well and requires surgery. Blazers have shown that they can win without Oden for the past 2 years however with Roy out it is entirely a different story.

Malas lang talaga siguro ang Portland sa pagkuha ng center. Imagine...
- Getting Sam Bowie as the number 2 draft pick only to see him get injured. They chose him ahead of one named Air Jordan.
- Walton getting ravaged by injuries after giving the city a taste of being a champion
- now Oden...number 1 draft pick last 2007. They chose him ahead of one guy nicknamed Durantula

What might have been if Portland drafted talent instead of need.

I think the Heat are still trying to find their chemistry. Its an ongoing process and it wont happen overnight. Though its too early to say it, but the lack of chemistry can be the reason why they may not win the championship this year. The Lakers, Spurs, Celtics have the established chemistry which makes them hard to beat at this point. But let's see how the Heat progresses as the season goes on. With an impending lock-out next season, the Heat should try to win this season.

I'd hate for coach Spo to get axed because he's not getting the most out of his star-studded line-up. But who's capable of replacing him? Riley? Hope he will not be a repeat Stan Van Gundy's fate.

my non expert's opinion.

James and Bosh increased big time the OFFENSIVE prowess of Miami but we all know that even experts would always say DEFENSE win championship.

The Big 3 in Boston does not score big time all the time even on their championship runs but i believe they all play great defense.

When the Miami Heat won their championship with Shaq around, Wade and Shaq were srrounded by players who plays good defense. now Wade is surrounded by a couple of Offensive players who are not known to mix it up when the going gets tough.

I also think with the addition of LBJ it also added Miami's Defensive Prowess. He was also with Wade in the all defensive first team last year. ;)

No offense but the all defensive team in the NBA has some flaws, yes LBJ is very good defensively but overated. Yes he averages enough steals and blocks a lot of amazing shots very good for a highlight reel but for me that does not constitute being part of the all defensive team. A lot of NBA players are more deserving of this category unfortunately they are lesser known role players, but isnt that the point that their role is to defend people.

The difference is he is not a lock down player with the likes of Ron Artest, Gary Payton or Michael Jordan. He is not also a team concept defender who will patrol the lanes and chase after people who were forgotten by their man ala Bill Russell or a KG. The reason why Boston was so good in thier runs is that they have in their big 3 a healthy KG who does both of these categories well. This is also the reason why Pierce and Allen have improved tremendously on defense compared to their earlier years. Plus, of course a Rajon Rondo who is very intelligent defensively does not hurt hehe.

Yes Miami's Big 3 will have their moments, but their struggles early only shows us that it is not that easy building a championship team. You are combining both tremendous talents and ego's. Fortunately for the C's they realized how to do this early. And until the big 3 in Miami does the same it is still the Big 4 in Green and Mamba and Gasol in showtime that will be the teams to beat.

I agree that LBJ and Wade are good defenders but primarily they thrive on being great weak side defenders, they are not really good one one one/lockdown defenders like artest, bruce bowen, barnes etc.
