Nah. It's a long regular season and for a veteran team like the LAkers, it's all good. They know that panicking will only make it worse. They're gonna go through the motions and just let it play out, the way Phil Jackson lets his players play out a bad spell in-game without calling a time out. If anything, I'm pretty sure that "hard" schedule will fire them up and provide the challenge that will make them play like they're champs.

I don't think so.  While the sched is still relatively easy, try to get every win you can.  Losing to the Rockets and Pacers or any other game you are expected to win could spell the difference of getting game 7 on your home floor.  The Lakers certainly needed that game 7 last year to retain the title.

I doubt they needed a game 7 if Bynum was healthy last year. They're really playing listless basketball and I'm pretty sure they'd want to win every game, but sometimes, you just want to get this over with and start the real season, which is the playoffs. THey'll be ok. It's just a funk that I'm confident they'll shake off.

If Perkins did not suffer a torn ACL, it could have been different also.  Having game 7 on your home floor makes the difference when it comes to refs' calls.

But still I believe taking things lightly even with the 4 game losing streak should at the very least, be unsettling.

I've seen this so many times in the past.  The Lakers always opting for  the difficult path.  I've grown tired having the last laugh whenever my anti-Laker brothers and friends would critic LA's losing streaks.  Naku, lumang tugtugin na to.  Yeah, maybe they get pretty bored and play the Vegas odds game.

When Bynum gets back, and Kobe goes a 100% and with the new lineup, I'd say this is the strongest Laker lineup since the showtime LA of Magic, Kareem and Worthy.

I like this facebook status....

Laker hate coming out from all over facebook! No worries though. Keep rooting for your favorite teams. You know, the ones that didn't win their 2nd straight championship a couple of months ago...

Laker losing streak is a big deal.......... to haters.

Laker fan like me......di lang kami sanay.   :P

No worries....four game losing streak and still up by 4 games in their division? and just 2.5 off the West?  Tagal pa ng season.

LBJ was all business today - 38-5-8.  Guess he still feels at home in that arena.  Can't believe though that he pulled off his chalk stunt in front of the Cavs' fans.  More reason for the fans to hate him.

As for LA, all this "concern" about the 4-game skid seems premature.  IMO, the Lakers' record at the end of this month would be a better gauge of whether the team really has the potential for a 3-peat.  They'll be going on a 6-game Eastern road trip, and will be facing Miami, San Antonio and NO for the first time this season.  Let's see how they'll fare then.  Bynum should be back during this stretch, so Pau and Lamar can play less minutes.

Tama na rin 'yang discussion about last year's Finals.  Champion pa rin LA.  ;D

Lakers trade Vujacic to Nets for Joe Smith in three team deal.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AjQyU9tfocmipkfiDmGwMBm8vLYF?slug=aw-williamsrockets121410

sa wakas lakers got rid of vujacic and his ridiculous contract. and they got an additional body in the paint in Joe Smith.

+1. The Lakers are really gearing up for a 3-peat.
with Bynum's questionable health, Smith is a veteran back-up who can match up with the bigs of Dallas & Boston.

Sa ESPN ko napanood ang game last night. I'm a Celtics fan pero napa WOW talaga ako sa mga highlight shots ni Amare, Gallinari and Felton. Play after play dominating ang Knicks lalo na yung mga dunks, 3s and jump shots ni Gallinari at 2nd half...in the end yung exprience ng Boston ang nagpanalo, killer 3pts from Allen and jump shot from Pierce.

The road to Miami's Christmas date with the Lakers:

@ New York (tom)
@ Washington (Sun)
Dallas (Tue)
@ Phoenix (Fri)
@ LA Lakers (Sun) -> MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Baka sa Dallas game pa lang, matapos na winning streak nila.  :)

Tough luck for Boston and Chicago with the injuries to Rondo and Noah.  Meanwhile, the blue-collar Spurs continue to surprise and lead the league with practically the same core they've had through the years.  Magaling din talaga na coach si Popovich.
