yes, unless manalo pa si kobe ng 3 championships hindi siya pwde compare kay jordan. considering na un first 3 championships niya, hindi si kobe un main guy, back-up lang siya ni shaq.

As for best player in NBA today, LBJ all the way! sooner or later, mananalo din sila ng championship..

Here we go again, please re-watch kung paano usually nakakalusot sa Western playoffs ang Lakers nung first 3-peat, specially against the Spurs.  Sa Finals lang kumakamada si Shaq kasi walang quality centers like Duncan sa East.

LBJ?  Nice choice, but he may not be the best SF in the league right now... pwedeng si Durant na.

daniel gibson is a joke! 7 pts in 5 racks, si ray allen naka 8 pts na agad 2 racks pa lang.

what a waste in the 3pt roster, wala na ba sila ibang mapili??

Sana si Korver or si Reddick or si Morrow na lang nilagay dito... tsk tsk tsk

Ibaka was robbed of a 50 point first dunk... lalo na by Dr. J, what Ibaka did was way more impressive than what he did, tapos 9 points lang binigay nya.. tsk tsk tsk :)

Nung nakita kong fan voting na magde-decide, alam ko nang malabo nang manalo si McGee.  Sayang, he had more creative dunks than Sakuragi, este Blake pala heheh

For me, this competition is tied as one of the best dunk competitions I've seen... tied with the Carter vs McGrady vs Francis dunk competition...

Sana next year, bumalik si Griffin vs Howard vs Javale vs DeAndre Jordan  ;D

I was talking about the time nung first Lakers 3-peat, AND di pa nagkaharap sa NBA Finals si Shaq at si Dwight.

i remember how shaq dominated those 3 finals. lalo na nung against sixers na walang matinong center si mutombo lang pero medyo may edad na sya nun. pati pala yung nets na wala din matinong center.

speaking of dwight he has improved a lot, iwasan nya lang tumira ng jumpshot, ang hilig nya mag bank shot lagi naman sablay. lol. post moves dapat gawin nya lagi. and also his free throws. hehe.

For me, Dwight only needs to improve on his FT%.  Mapaakyat nya lang yun ng at least 70%, hard to stop na sya.  ;)

Bah! Jordan vs Kobe nanaman? Let it go guys. Both of them are good. Pity that the argument is usually crazy like "Oh Kobe wouldnt have won without Shaq. Oh, MJ had Pippen to help him out" Crazy coz it's a team game. Can't touch Bird vs Magic though. LAkers-Celtics and NBA Finals rivalry pa.

Durant, of course. At 22, he has already shown maturity and leadership. And fantasy-wise, he's the better pick.

Melo is an overrated player. Durant is more of a team player at kayang magdala ng team but Melo can't. He (Melo) is a go-to guy but hasn't prove that he can be a leader.

Btw, I like the tempo of the game. Maghipit kaagad ang depensahan.  :)

Nothing wrong with being a sidekick.  But Kobe then was Shaq's as evidenced by the Finals MVPs by Shaq.

+1 let it go na.. no sense comparing Kobe to 'the great' MJ at this point.. kasi malayo pa naman talaga..  ;D

Give Kobe a break.. wait till he retires before we judge his accomplishments..

Meantime, pwede siguro kung kobe-pippen or kobe-Dr. J na lang muna ang i-compare...  ;D peace!

+1000.  This issue has been discussed over and over, even in the older NBA threads.  Kobe fans and haters have made their respective points.

Pretty entertaining All-Star game.  No surprise that Kobe won another MVP, since he had homecourt advantage over the Heat and Celtics all-stars.  :)

Pretty good show by Kobe and Lebron.  Kobe was MVP alright but Lebron's 29-12-10 performance put him in Air Jordan's distinct company of being the only players with a triple double in an All Star Game.

Hey, I've been reading online that Lebron's people "asked" ESPN to remove the picture of him looking like a fool trying to block Kobe's two-handed slam. It's like when Lebron asked ESPN to remove videos of him being dunked on by a young un some time back. What a douche!

Can't seem to find the link myself.  Here's an interesting link though : http://thebiglead.com/index.php/2011/02/21/kobe-dunked-on-lebron-and-other-notable-moments-from-the-nba-all-star-game/

Don't think that was really a poster dunk by Kobe on LBJ.  Lebron was trailing and it wasn't really an "in your face" dunk.  But maybe because of the hype between these two, Lebron was a bit embarassed.  Notice how he tried to look at the video screen right after the dunk, as if saying, "syet, nakita sa widescreen!"

But Lebron's made some pretty awesome dunks and shots himself.  That rampaging dunk also on video and the Dr J twisting layup were gorgeous.

My vote for ASG MVP was for CP3. His stat line won't show it, but the East lost on turnovers. Paul made 5 steals, but caused many more turnovers through his disruptive presence. His energy also drove the West team, later picked up by Deron and Westbrook. CP3 got Mamba going, got KD going, got everyone going. Beat Rondo at his own game too, which is not a mean feat.

^ Finally!  The report from Yahoo! Sports provides more details:

Knicks get:

Anthony
Billups
Shelden Williams
Balkman
Anthony Carter
CBrewer (from Minn)

Nuggets get:

Felton
WChandler
Gallinari
Mozgov
Picks + cash

TWolves get:

ARandolph
ECurry (expiring contract)

Yahoo! also reports that Denver is not done dealing.  Felton and Mozgov might be moved to NJ, in exchange for Devin Harris and Troy Murphy.  Devin Harris will then be dealt to Dallas.

Celtics are also reportedly pursuing Shane Battier (who would be a good fit), but apparently Houston is not interested.

Abangan...

I don't like this move. NY could have looked for a good center instead.

...or KD with his clutch baskets in the closing minutes when the East was closing in on them..
