That DWill trade to NJ was a shocker. Utah loses its coach and all-star in a span of weeks. I guess DWill was making it clear that he wasn't staying past 2012, so inunahan na ng Jazz.  :P

I didn't know Deron was on the market.  Now I'm wondering if Walsh jumped the gun on Melo.  I think New York could have pursued DWill and gotten Melo after the season.  Maybe Felton and either Gallinari or Chandler plus picks would have sealed it.

with the lockout/CBA coming, this is the busiest trade deadline in recent years, reports say courtney lee will be a bull, gerald wallace to be a blazer

^ Also gaining momentum is the ATL-WAS 5-player trade, with Hinrich and Bibby as the notable players.

DWill will miss playing for the playoffs. The Jazz will start dropping from the West standingsand will also miss the playoffs.
Sloan will have the last laugh... karma.

Some action going on now between the Blazers and Lakers.  Lakers down by 7 in the last 2 minutes, 87-80, Artest made a 3 pointer and Kobe made back to back baskets to even the score for an OT!  Extra period about to start...

Hayup, palitan ng 3 points!  Lamar Odom then Rudy F then Artest then Rudy F again! 95-all 2 mins to go.

98 - 97 LA  1 min to go Lakers up via +1 basket of Gasol

100 - 97 LA  Kobe with a jumpshot 27 seconds to go

timeout POR

Aldridge, leading scorer of Portland, missed 2 free throws (what a goat!) while Kobe made 2 of 2.

102 - 97 18 seconds to go.  Ala na to talo na Portland

104 -97 LA via a crucial turnover by andre miller and another 2 free throws by Kobe 16 seconds to go.

I gotta watch the replay tonight ( sana palabas to!  ) GO LA!  It's been a while since a back to back win for LA.  Sana tuloy na tuloy na at mabuhayan na ang LA.

FINAL SCORE 106 -101 :  Kobe 37 points!

Clippers are trading Baron Davis to Cleveland for Mo Williams (and Jamario Moon).  An injured PG for another injured PG.  ???  But the Clips are apparently trying to free up cap space to become a major FA player.

Wow - Boston gave up Perkins and Nate to get Jeff Green (bagay at least sa pangalan) and Krstic fron OKC. Maybe there's more to Perk's injury than what they're reporting. Perk must be very angry...  Celts also looking to land Troy Murphy.

GWallace to POR - good move for the Blazers.

Brooks for Dragic.

Battier for Thabeet.

Miami is probably wishing now that Boston faces Orlando and Dwight Howard in the Eastern Conference semifinals. :)

NEW JERSEY NETS na si DERON WIlliams......traded

• Utah traded guard Deron Williams to New Jersey for guard Devin Harris, forward Derrick Favors, a 2011 first-round pick, a 2012 first-round pick (via Golden State) and cash considerations.
• New Orleans traded guard Carl Landry to Sacramento for guard Marcus Thornton and cash considerations.

D. Ainge does not make blunders with these trades. If I smell it right, na i really do hope so there will be other players coming in both this season via buy outs and signings (Rip, Dalembert or Murphy) and by the off season (big franchise player). That is why they needed to unload some men. they got rid of 5 and got only 2 in return plus draft picks, so this means the 3 slots must be filled. But none the less being a C's fan i am getting nervous were this thing goes until everything else settles...

Yeah, but would you rather remain a good team in next few years or be champion now?

yup sir, as a fan alam ko medyo questionable yung move ako din yan din ang initial reaction ko. we have a chance right now why tinker with a line up that has been working and as we can see in their last games Perk was really a lot of help.

But my guess, Perk will be a free agent next summer and Boston will rather look for a franchise player to sign next season so its better to get something now in return that to lose Perk to free agency. another we really dont know the extent of the Perk injury. Remeber it was also D. Ainge who drafted J. Green before he traded the pick for Ray Allen, so he really likes the player.

Even in Boston, alot of fans are agast with the trades the literally gave players away but I still believe this is the man's job and no matter how I look at it D. Ainge will always be in a better position to analyze his team than me beacuse that is what he is good at and that is what he paid to do. I just remain a true fan and hope that the best is yet to come.

It is rumored that the C's are targeting Dwight Howard.  Maybe they are freeing up cap space now.

Generally I would risk the future to win now.  No use being very competitive the next decade w/o winning a title.

another good kicker to the celts-thunder trade though it needs confimation is that the celts will get a 2012 first round draft pick that the thunder got from the clippers in a previous trade. If this is true then this can potentially be a lottery pick next year.

and yes there have been news that they are really going for Howard in the off season but this remains to be seen as alot of teams will be scrambling for Superman next year.

Tsk.. tsk.. tsk.. don't know what Ainge and the Celts are really up to.. do they have something up their sleves??? I have no idea but I'm HOPING they have!!!

As a die-hard Celtics fan, I can't be happy with how things played out... nevertheless, should be thankful enough that atleast the key players were left untouched.

Go Celtics!  ;D

Without considering the players who will be bought out, I thought maybe Boston should have gone after Battier.  Houston let go of Battier for a stiff like Thabeet.  If the Celtics got Battier maybe Perkins wouldn't need to be traded.

good game yung bulls vs. heat. nice win by the Bulls. Miami's bench did them in by scoring only 2 points the whole game...
