It would be redemption if they turn this around...  ;D
but we're talking of the current best NBA team collapsing...  ::)

Spoelstra said some Heat players are crying in the locker room at the moment.

LeCry?

Lebron missed another gamewinner.   I thought in the start, this is Wade's team, but I guess they will live and die with Lebron in the dying seconds.

Mukhang eto yung article na nabasa niyo sir. Dwane Wade said this: "The Miami Heat are exactly what everyone wanted, losing games,". "The world is better now because the Heat is losing."

WTF .... sishin ba yung mga fans.... grow up man. Now you know that it takes more than 3 egos to win a championship.... pero nung umpisa at unveiling nila ang yabang... Wade is one of my favorite players right now.. kaya lang mukhang nahawa na siya kay LeBron

Agree!  Earlier, habang tinatambakan ng Lakers ang Spurs, its commentators simply talked about the Heat dahil siguro kakatamad yun laban ng La Spurs ;D Anyway, Jeff Van Gundy nailed it right.  The Big 3 of Miami shouldn't be complaining about the "world vs the heat".  After all, the Big 3 invited the limelight with all those fanfare and chutzpah during the preseason.  JVG said never in the history of the NBA has people focusing and analyzing / over analyzing a basketball team.  And they only have themselves to blame.  Sobrang nag hollywood eh dapat you have to live up to the hype. Di naman wrestlemania to eh.

---

Lebron again muffed the winning shot and another missed opportunity for greatness.  Those are the moments you live for, take over and win the game.  Legends do that.  The MJs and the Kobes do that. In his "sleep'" Kobe will nail those jumpers.    Maybe Mike Bibby would have done better huh?  Next time again LBJ.  Napapagod na ako sa kaka next time ha?  Miami is 1-9 versus the top 5 teams in the NBA >:(

__

LA, on the other hand, just sent a reminder to the top NBA team the Spurs by playing flawless D.  Kobe said this could be their best game thus far, limiting the Spurs to under 90.  I watched the game and I agree.  No other team in the planet could beat the Lakers with how they played earlier.

Wasn't it JVG who predicted that the Heat will break the 72-10 record?

yup i guess that is why he is really going hard at them kasi they are under achieving of his predictions. well I guess Pippen knew better hehe

By the way buti nanalo pa din ang boston inspite of a off game by Rondo and Allen, though the crucial plays in the end ay galing din sa mga assists niya and allen's 17 footer broke an 82 all deadlock. its just na dami TO ni Rondo. Buti maganda laro no Kristic and Green.

After Miami's own big 3 taking some flack in finishing close games. With the score tied at 82 all, the original big 3 played big and had no problems closing... Allen had a jumper, KG made an 11 footer and Pierce converted on a crucial 3 point play. But more than that it was again Boston's D that help them survive despite injuries to key players. Bucks failed to score a field goal in the last 3 and half minutes.

IMO - the Lakers will forever be considered, by the experts, the Top Favorites to win it all (even if they're the 8th ranked team in the West) ... that's how dangerous Kobe and Co. are come Playoff Time ...

heat are now 1 out of 18 on games when they trail 1, 2 or 3 points in the last 10 seconds at have the last shot... very intriguing characteristic since they have argueably 2 of the best "finishers" of the game but they just could not do it... still with LeBron and Wade there it remains a bit scary sa playoffs as there can be a chance na suddenly they dominate the games.... though sobrang babaw nga lang ng bench nila.

1 of 18 when they trail by less than 3 in the last 10 seconds......and thats the regular season. That stat would drastically become worse if they are faced with the same situation come playoff time because defenses are geared specifically to stop the go to guys of the opposing teams.

I couldnt imagine Kobe and the Lakers going 1 for 18 if they were faced with the same situation....maybe Durant and OKC would even have a better record than that.

in short the Heat are big time chokers when the game is on the line and they are behind or in a position to win in the dying seconds.

I agree... I think what is good with the lakers and celtics is that, though we all know that Mamba or Pierce or sometimes Allen will take the final shot... any one in that team is capable of a game winner and their stars dont mind if the others will make the last second play...Pau, Fisher, Lamar, Delonte,  heck even Ron Ron or Glen Davis I think has had more game winners than these heat combined hehe.

Celtics sign guard Carlos Arroyo

Posted Mar 6 2011 8:50PM

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Boston Celtics have signed Carlos Arroyo for the rest of the season after the guard was released by the Miami Heat.

Celtics coach Doc Rivers says that Arroyo will join the team on Monday.

Arroyo will be expected to provide veteran depth and shore up the guard position for a group that's missing five players.

The Heat waived Arroyo on Tuesday to make room for Mike Bibby. Arroyo, a nine-year NBA veteran of six different teams before Boston, made 42 starts for Miami, averaging 6.4 points and 2.2 assists per game this season.

Regarding Wade's comments  about "the world is better now" now that they are losing...

They bought that upon themselves.....why complain?

Stan Van Gundy's comment says it all...

Quote
"I do chuckle a little bit when they complain about the scrutiny they get," Van Gundy, a former Heat coach, told reporters in Orlando. "My suggestion would be if you don't want the scrutiny, you don't hold a championship celebration before you've even practiced together. It's hard to go out yourself and invite that kind of crowd and celebration and attention, and then when things aren't going well, sort of bemoan the fact that you're getting that attention."

The Heat are again in a tight contest, this time with with the Blazers... Portland with the lead 61-55 early 3rd. Lebron and Wade are doing everything but still the lead is not theirs. IMO... they cant always win with the bench just scoring 5 points... somebody there must help either Bibby or Miller for them to have a chance.

How can the bench score when they shoot the ball all the time? Even Bosh can't get enough attempts.

hehe that is why IMO they can't win it all... until their stars learn to trust their bench

Sixers win 3rd straight again doing it with balanced scoring, Doug Collins is my bet for coach of the year for transforming this group into a cohesive unit. Though Coach Thibs of Chicago has done an equally good job in the windy city.

Lakers are stil the hottest team in the league by crushing Atlanta for their 8th straight... should the other teams start shaking now hehe
