The story? Blazers bench - 41, Heat - 8.

yup both teams had big games from their prime players 38 and 31 for wade and lebron, 26 and 22 for LA and G shock. But in the end as I said you cant win even if you stars score 40 or 50 if you bench got massacred 41-8. Marunong pa kaya mag shoot yung mga bench players ng miami or nakalimot na...

Magandang laban yun LA-Miami.  Even w/ the losing streak, I think Miami...more so Lebron has always had confidence that he and the Heat can take on LA.

It doesn't get easier for LBJ and the Heat as they next face LA, San Antonio, OKC at home and travel to Atlanta next, though the sched eases off after that. This is a though string of games for the Heat as they face 8 good play off bound teams in thier March sched. But the knack is most of these games are at home were they should at least win some even with the tough schedule...

more so Lebron has always had confidence that he and the Heat can take on LA.

Lebron always has confidence that he can beat anyone, the real question is does his team mates share the same confidence now...

Lebron's teams have been 3-0 over the last three games versus the Lakers though.

I dont think Lebron has the confidence that he can beat anyone. If thats the case then he shouldnt have seeked help from two other superstars if he alone can will himself and his team to beat the teams that really matter.

This is gonna be good game on thursday, PJax already utilized his psy war tactics by issuing a statement to the media that "big boys dont cry"..."This is the NBA: No Boys Allowed,"   :'(

If the Lakers defeat the Heat on Thursday they would literally rip off the mojo of that team up until the playoffs...and after that they get a San Antonio team thats itching to bounce back and pummel the next team that they encounter due to the humiliation that they got from LA the other day.

at the end of 2010-2011 Heat journey all fingers will be pointed to....Spolestra.

yep...true. That was the case as well with San Antonio vs LA this year...before they blew out the Spurs in front of the Spurs' home town crowd.

When championship pride sets in...its a totally different ballgame.

Lebron though for me seems to be more motivated and more determined when he faces the Lakers.  Thus the blowout results in the games.

The Spurs is a different scenario as they are in the same conference.  Only meeting the Lakers twice a year gives Lebron bragging rights and sometimes the arrogance that he has beaten the best.

Lebron beats the best teams when the games dont count.

All the media hype and expectations stemmed from this.....when they celebrated like they won the championship even without having a practice together with the entire team for the first time. They were the only team in my recollection who made a PRE-season celebration. Other teams when they snag a big name acquisition they would just hold a news conference and some posing for phot op with the new player displaying his new jersey and thats that....not Miami though.

The Heat would have been better off with just Bosh. Lebron changes the dynamic of any team, it's like starting from scratch.

if the game is all about one on one, malamang pumusta ako kay lebron but just like what we all say, its a team game, Lebron doesnt know the meaning of that, talent is very important in winning games and championship but attitude is very very important. lebron has the talent but the attitude he has is BAD one.

what I mean is lebron has never lacked confidence in himself... but having confidence in one's self to perform is very different from being confident of winning... that is why he seeked help in miami, in the end this is still team game and no amount of utter confidence can make you win if your team is inferior to the Lakers, Celts, Spurs or even the Bulls both physically and mentally... With an ego as large as his I don't think he ever loses confidence in himself...

Remember...in the Bulls 6 title run there were games in the play offs were Jordan and Pippen were off, and it seems that there is no way they can win but it was always the bench that made a run for them before the dynamic duo finishes them.

Lebron just changes the flow of the team that he is in and if you cant keep up you will end up struggling... this is what is happening to his team mates right now... and these are not so so players... Bibby is a definite upgrade from arroyo, Mike Miller is a versitle shooter and james jones is the 3 point champion yet he cant even shoot any shot.... Lebron may have 8-10 assist in a game but most of these are to wade and sometimes bosh... he never sets up his other team mates.

now Bosh is complaining of the lack of touches in the low post and his role as a screener for both Wade and James. eh hindi naman talaga banger si Bosh down low because he operates on the elbows and gets a majority of his points through medium range jumpers plus he is a poor rebounder to boot for a guy his size.

got this from ESPN...the Heat must go 18-0 in their last 18 games of the season in order to match the record of Cleveland last year when LeBron was there.

That crying issue is so overblown. A lot of players cry. Heck, Kobe cried when they got beat by the Spurs in the playoffs a long time ago. That's just sensationalism. Does that make them wussies? I don't think so. Tao lang din mga yan.

Miami just have to accept that whichever team they face, they will expect more than the usual effort coz, well, they are the team everyone wants to beat. It's a villains role which I think they've embraced, but I don't really think they could handle emotionally. Too much pressure and I wouldn't be surprised if one of the stars bolted. He already did that when pressure was too much in Cleveland. Hehehe  ;D

Celts lose to Clippers 108-103. They just simply dug themselves a huge hole at the half that the good 2nd half was not enough. Not enough defense, hope big baby, shaq and delonte come back soon. Great game by Kristic though...
