Just one more thing about OKC. Which player has won the most number of Western Conference Player of the Week awards?

The answer might surprise you.

Yup! Westbrook 4 times. Dirk, LMA, Randolph 2 times each.
Over in the East, Dwight with 5, LBJ 4.

Great games earlier with LA rallying and winning over Portland, 84-80 sans the absence of Bynum.  The "tanders" Kobe and Fisher shone to close out the Blazers.  And the Raptors upsetting OKC 95 - 93 via a last second shot by Amir Johnson.

The Lakers are peaking just at the right time. 12 wins out of 13 games.

Lakers are division champs kasi they are leading the pacific division and no one in that division right now can catch them. The next team Phoenix has only 35 wins and with 14 games remaining in their sched even if they win all they will only get to 49 wins, still short of the 50 right now by the lakers even if they lose all their last 12 games( which is even impossible).

While the spurs even though they lead the whole western conference, still has the mavericks to contend with the division lead. When the Mavericks no longer have a chance at overtaking the spurs only then will they be declared division champs of the southwest.

im hoping na mag number 1 ang lakers sa west.  I know its a long shot pero if ever mangyari yun and manalo yung top 4 team sa first round ng playoffs,  magiging grudge match and 2nd round with LA vs OKC, then mavs vs spurs (rivals din).

Anyone here catch the latest ESPN 30 for 30? It's the story of Michigan's Fab Five of Chris Webber, Juwan Howard, Jalen Rose, Jimmy King and Ray Jackson. Very informative and entertaining docu. It's the second 30 for 30 I've seen after Reggie Miller vs Knicks (which is a must-watch for NBA fans)

Read reviews about it including commentary about the "Uncle Tom" comments a young Jalen Rose made back then about Grant Hill and his Duke teammates. Hill's response ended up being published as an Op-Ed piece for the New York Times. You may want to read his full unedited response in the link below:

3rd OT!  What a game ;D

Kobe in a near triple double performance 40-12-9.  He just made a three point shot for the lead!

Western Shootout ito!!!

another day at the office for the Black Mamba. stiff neck, bum ankle and all....he wouldnt let his team down. If Bynum was playing, there wouldnt even be an overtime since he will just bully his way to the basket over Phoenix's big men.

Puro clutch. Frye, Gasol, Bryant.

Vince Carter, why, oh, why won't you just drive? You are 2-13 from the beyond the arc., why take the 3?

correct. there was no shot clock then. the game incidentally, was won by indianapolis, 75-73. the indy then was a different franchise from indy of today, which came from the aba.
