I thought of this also at first, but you can also argue that when Green ends his contract also he will also demand the money if not as much even more depending on how well he plays. So it will be the same cost financially for the celts.

I think one valid reason is they wanted to deepen their rotation on the 2 3 and 4 slots which Green gives... We all know that Pierce will be guarding LBJ in the miami series and if they advance it will be Deng. The trade provides flexibility both on offense and defense to conserve Pierce's energy.

Of course the problem is they made the analysis on the fact that they thought both O neals will play and make some difference. Let's see if the trade will be beneficial through the Miami series.

This is why I think in my opinion Duratulla is still the man in OKC. Even with the vast improvement of Westbrook and some others saying he is the best player there. KD is just amazing....

his offense may be missing this game but his defense is certainly not

Nice win for the Spurs. A win is a win. It looks like Manu, TP and Timmy, really, have to carry most of the load. Since, one of the best reserves during the regular season are nowhere to be found in the playoffs. I guess, Bonner/RJ are no Horry, or no Barry, or no Bowen, or no Stephen Jackson, when it comes to playoffs 3's. Go Spurs Go.

Watched the Heat vs Sixers earlier where Miami won. Sixers fought till the end. Ganda rin ng laban. Akala ko makakasilat pa Sixers. I like that never say die attitude. Magaling din mag motivate ng players si Coach Doug. I thought Heat felt the pressure, especially in the dying minutes. Now, the Heat must step up when they play Boston. Pag ganito ang laro nila, tapos sila sa Boston.

I look forward to this matchup. Sigurado bugbugan to. Boston has the advantage definitely, sa 1 & 5 lamang sila. Miami still has no good center and legit point guard ( well si mike bibby siguro ). Sa coach at siyempre sa experience lamang din Boston. It's up to the Big 3 of Miami to carry this team to the next round. They should play exceptionally well EACH GAME.
