The steal, down the lane, spin, and the power slam! Rondo rolls on the floor with out a chance on stopping LBJ. Just classic. Lolz!

Now Doc has no choice but to play Shaq just to have a presence defensively inside....

Yup no choice. Hopefully Shaq can at least make the Heat hesitate or think twice before darting in the lane. Because right now, Miami is not intimidated by the Celtics' interior defense!

Except that, even in his prime, Shaq was one of the worst pick-and-roll defenders.

Any revival by Boston should focus on getting Ray and Paul more involved on offense, and being more coordinated on defense (that starts with you, KG).

Still Shaq is able to make driving opponents second-guess themselves when going to the hoop.  If he makes players change their shots even if he didn't block it, then he has done his job.  He was very effective during the regular season.  Just seeing Shaq in front of you blocking your way to the basket will make you hesitate.

Problem right now is that the Heat are attacking the rim relentlessly.

Since I started the link between the playoffs and movie titles, I might as well pick it up again. Here are my translations of two series:

HEAT-CELTICS
Game 1: Flashforward
Game 2: The Return of the King

THUNDER-GRIZZLIES
Game 1: The Animal
Game 2: Thunderball

it pains me knowing the heat is gaining a lot over the celts and while i am very vocal about lbj not being able to deliver when it matters most, im happy to see things are happenning not the way i wanted it.

if by any chance the heat move to the eastern finals, this might probably change the way i view lbj

my thoughts now is that in case the lakers move to the finals, who will be a better opponent, the bulls or the heat, or if we will be using the firts two games of all matches happening now, who will likely be meeting in the finals? or too early to tell for now? im a celts fan but it seems the future looks bleak :(

Limit Miami's big 3 to 60-70 points and the Celts will win.  How difficult can that be?   ;D

Or if Allen, Pierce, Rondo and Garnett make an additional 10 points among them.  That's barely 2.5 points per player.  How difficult can that be as well?   ;D

Miami have been known to win even if their big three doesn't score more than 70 points. and with respect to the C's big four, problem is Miami's stifling defense. Actually, Boston's problem is Miami's defense and not Miami's offense.

I think the production of the Celtics stars is not that big of a problem. Allen and Pierce are due for a big game after the 2 games in Miami. Limiting the Miami stars is much more difficult since just wade and LBJ are capable of scoring 30-35 themselves.

For me another thing that they can do to combat this the bench of Boston should outplay decisively their Miami counterparts for them to win.

wala kasi nagstep-up sa bench ng boston pag one of their big 3 or 4 doesn't produce. unlike nung sa Miami, 1st game di maganda laro ni bosh pero nagsteup-up si Jones and on the other hand pangit laro ni KG and Rondo then walang nagstep-up sa bench. nung 2nd game naman maganda nilaro nung big three ng Miami and on the other hand, pangit laro ni KG and Allen tapos wala uli nagstep-up sa bench ng Boston.

We have yet to see LBJ perform in down to the wire finishes.
He was the main go to guy when he was with the Cavs, now he doesnt feel that much pressure with WADE by his side.
The Celtics havent gave the Heat enough challenge in the past 2 games.
The HEAT won convincingly so its up for Boston to regroup in their homecourt and challenge the Heat to play pressure packed games.
