I think Odom and Bynum lost their composure but they will come away with it, more mature.

Perhaps the only thing that comes out good for this series.

after the game he told the interviewer he will be out for two weeks... sayang

looks like the Celts will go all out and full force for game 4...

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=Aj5l_P7LP6.7XXUk2xtob_.8vLYF?slug=ap-heat-celtics

BTW: Congratulations to the Mavs, specially Dirk and J Kidd... Hell of a series these 2 guys played.

As for the Lakers: They will be back... This is too proud a franchise to just lie down and die.

And syempre what good are the Celts if the Lakers are gone: its like Batman and Joker. The one cant exist without the other hehehe.

The guest of this weird Lakers fan.

WTF... some guys are just darn lucky hehehe :o

By the look of things looks like the other series in the East is going to be tied at 2-2 and will be reduced to a best of 3. Kudos also to the Atlanta team, they were the underdogs in their 1st and 2nd round series and yet here they are still competing against the top team in the league.

a champion, with what he showed in his game versus Miami,...

being swept isnt bad at all. sometimes for a team to rediscover themselves they must fail in a very big way. Look what happened when the Malone, Payton reinforced Laker team lost to the Pistons. That is an even bigger failure given the talent level that they had. Management took a quick look at the roster...traded Shaq, released Horry, Fisher, Fox and rebuilt the team using the draft and acquired the necessary pieces. just 5 short years after that they were back in the Finals and won two championships after that.  Since Jerry Buss arrived in the scene back in 1979 the Lakers won 10 championships in the past 30 years. that's an equivalent of one championship every 3 years. No other franchise has been so dominant in the past 30 years.

whats bad is that the city of LA and the Laker fans are just so used to success so an early exit like this is already considered a disaster or a failure. for other teams an early exit in the second round would be called a "learning experience" and "something to build upon next year"....remember OKC last year? remember the Bulls last year?

some of the things that should be on the list for LA:

agenda #1 for them this offseason: get a coach.
agenda # 2: upgrade the PG position
agenda # 3: ship out Artest
agenda # 4: upgrade the bench
agenda # 5: dangle Bynum plus others not named Gasol, Bryant, Odom as trade bait.

im already ecstatic with the back to back championships. dun pa lang solb nako. so walang problema kung matalo sila this season. kesa sa iba dyan na banderang kapos. lol.

stagnant na kasi yung lakers, this loss is exciting for me as a fan kung ano gagawin nila sa offseason.

new coaching staff, time to upgrade the PG spot, bench, maybe get an all star or 2 to join the team.

Parang in denial ah.  Just like Kobe when he said Lakers will win in 7.   :D

Clips don't have an all star big man.  Kobe needs that big guy to be effective.

for me i will never get tired of my team winning, kung siguro buhay na ako nung 8 straight championships ng Boston eh abot tenga ngiti ko....

IMHO, a loss is still a loss masakit pa din kasi kung player ka the whole season you invested time and effort for your ultimate goal which is a champioship... at kung fan ka naman, the whole year you have also invested time and effort to cheer your team to victory...

Eventually as we may say, the loss maybe beneficial in the long run, but still you root for your team every year to win it all and it will still be painful to fan no matter the silver lining we may see in the future...

I hate that attitude,...
Should have showed great sportsmanship,
mas hahangaan pa sila, yet mas pinili nilang ipakita ang dumi ng laro nila...
What class,..? WA CLASS,...

 ???
akala ko detroit circa 1980 yung pinapanood ko kanina dahil sa cheap shots nila odom and bynum

Yes winning is a great feeling. But no one expects to win year in and out. Eventually players will age, strategies will be figured out, someone hungrier will want it more. That's what makes teams like the Lakers and Celtics, the Yankees, the Patriots and even Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea special. They find a way to win consistently, and when they don't they do what is necessary to rebuild.

Any loss hurts thats true, but any true fan knows that it comes with the territory. A victory would be hollow if there was no risk of defeat.

In the 90's during the reign of the Bulls and Rockets, I could only dream of the Lakers having a player like Olajuwon or MJ, a dominant inside or outside threat . Instead we had Elden Campbell and Nick Van Exel :D. But fast forward a few years we got our answer in the form of Shaq and Kobe.

So painful as it may be right now for us Laker fans, we just have to wait and have faith that the future does look bright. Hopefully we wont have to wait too long.  :)

1. Brian Shaw is on the top of the list but I do hope they find some new offensive schemes. The triangle has been dominant for the past 20 years. Time for an upgrade IMO.
2.Definitely a PG upgrade would be nice. Hindi ka in kung wala kang magaling na PG ngayon hahaha! I don't know if any marquee PGs are up for free agency though so a trade is the only way this will happen.
3. Agreed
4. Agreed
5. I agree about Bynum. The injuries are enough cause for concern, but this display of immaturity takes the cake. Disagree about Gasol and Odom. If these two can't get their heads on straight then I say go ahead and trade them while they still hold value.

Who I would love to see in a Lakers uniform though are either an aging star looking for his shot at a ring and a young stud ready to be the face of the Lakers for the next 8-10 years. Steve Nash and D12 anyone? ;)

Anyway, I'll just take this as an opportunity to relax. 3 years in a row din being on pines and needles while following the Lakers on their finals run into June.

I'm going to be a bystander but will be somewhat rooting for Memphis for the Western conference and any team aside from the Celtics for the Eastern conference
