@dpogs
coming from you, i just cant believe theres so much hate! di ba mas ok magnaninous in victory. as obama said - no need to spike (the ball) at the endline  ;D

btw im no laker fan. nor a kobe/pretender to the throne fan.

hmmm... baka nga anti-dpogs ka he he he... isa lang ako sa mga basketball fans na sobrang ayaw manalo ng lakers... i believe there is nothing wrong sa sobrang kagustuhan kong hindi manalo ang Lakers...

if you love bynum for what he did... go on... i dont mind... i just hate bynum for what he did... ok lang kung isng beses ginawa or unintentional... hindi lang isang beses niya ginawa ang ganoong klaseng kabigat na fould na puwedeng ikamatay ng plyers at intentional niyang ginawa (salbahe tlaga)... to make it worse.. no remorse coming from him (talagang salbahe ang pambihira)...

at the end.. I will remember Lakers as a

- TEAM SWEEP BY DALLAS
- TEAM that got dirty because of humiliation

what an EPIC FAIL...

is that so?what could be much worse than being swept?with a team consisting of kobe, gasol, odom, artest and fischer plus a great coach in phil jackson?

what could be much worse? not making the playoffs is one. not having a championship in spite of being in the NBA as a team for the past 30 years is another.

stages in team formation talaga yan. may adjourning stage after the performing stage. They have already performed well for the past 3 years. You cant just simply expect them to be on top all the time. may reformation palagi yan.

Yes.  We win more than we fail.  This we can agree on, its a failure of a season.   And so will happen for the rest of the teams except one champion.

The owner dictates its a failure if its not a championship season.

Some rave when they reach the playoffs.  Some are satisfied when they reach the conf finals or the finals itself.   Laker fans dont.

So I  agree with you.  Epic failure.

Even a modest option like Hinrich (expiring contract+set to be replaced with Teague) would do.

Tapos yung Magic naman, a um...Pwedeng...um...

The last time a loss like this occurred, Ron Artest visited Kobe in the shower. Now, he knows how it feels. Some ron artest tweets.

ronartest: Next year it is super on.!!!!! It was sick n frustrating leaving that arena and hearing the fans taunt !!!!!!

ronartest: Me and derrick caracter just came from gym. Getting ready for next season No bicep kissing next year Business All business

regardless of how he makes some boneheaded plays, i think that Ron Artest is a good fit for the Lakers.

LA not making the play offs is not worse,it's disastrous.heck even when jordan left, chicago still went to playoffs.they lost to knicks ata but they are not swept.compare mo naman yung line up nung mga hindi pa nagchampion sa line up and organization ng lakers.the only team na alam ko eh yung utah nung panahon nila malone and stockton.malas lang nila sila jordan nakatapat nila

Being a Celtics fan, I am glad that Lakers went out now since the Celts road to the East finals is really tough.
Pero as a true blue NBA Basketball fan, I am not into bashing the Lakers nor any other NBA teams (or players) for that matter, because I know they are still one of the top teams in the NBA. Being swept 4 to none doesn't make me think less of the Lakers.

That's the beauty of the NBA basketball. Pagalingan ng diskarte and adjustment. Any NBA team playing in the playoffs - magagaling lahat yan and pwedeng manalo. I was actually surprised with Dallas, they got stronger in the playoffs. Akala ko NO and Dallas a walk in the park for Lakers (vs Boston's tough opponents). Lumakas Dallas kahit nawala si Carron Butler. Galing nila!

Good luck sa remaining teams. Sana makalusot Boston!

I initially wanted a OKC-CHI finals, start of the new era ika nga. But now that the Mavs swept the Lakers, I'd like to see a MIA-DAL part 2. Hopefully, no more, as PJ said, 80FTA per game for Wade this time.

Go Lakers!!!   ;D

2012 na lang ulit!!! or if no season next year , 2013!!!

This year, with the Lakers out early,  i guess I will root for Miami... and only because of Dwayne Wade and Eric Spoelstra and Pat Riley. LBJ, never liked him. Chris Bosh, doesn't rock my boat.

Now if Alonzo Mourning was still young and playing, that's a center for me.

Congratulations, Dallas Mavericks!

Sometimes successful franchises such as the Lakers need this kind of experience to rekindle their drive. Clearly, while I am (and will always be) an LA Fan, they lacked the HEART this year unlike the 2 previous years. BUT it will definitely be different next year. I am sure Kobe, Pau, Lamar, Ron, Shannon will be back. I am not to sure about Andrew BUT I do not want D12 to be in a Lakers uniform. I'd rather have a hardworking Brooke Lopez or the Brazilian player from the Spurs, they will fit the triangle. I also hope Brian Shaw gets the job, as I am sure PJax will still be in LA, maybe a s a consultant similar to Riley in Miami. They also need to upgrade the PG position...Nash may be a fit even if it will be the twilight of his career...Next year we will see a different, hungrier more determined Purple and Gold team.

PS: I would want to see the Bulls or the Grizzlies as champs this year!

Both sound good. Lopez is probably untouchable for the Nets though. Maybe Kris Humphries would be more tradable, he already has the ideal LA girl  ;D

Others on my wishlist are Al Horford and Kevin Love.  :D

I think this quote by Ron Artest best sums up what happened today:

"The Lakers fans have had their hearts broke," said Artest. "And all those people who aren't Lakers fans are now laughing at the Lakers fans."
