I've moved on.  :)

Only 8 teams have come back from a 1-3 deficit in the NBA Playoffs and win the series in 7 games.  And only two out of those 8 teams did not have homecourt advantage - the last one being the Houston Rockets in 1995 (vs PHX).  So tough odds for Boston.  I think Miami has to finish this series tomorrow.  Not a fan of either team, but this should be a good game to monitor.

Game 5 of OKC-MEM will be aired tomorrow on BTV.

We deserve better.

I NEVER said he cant be a laker, he still can be BUT with A LOT of IF's.. like he can be a laker if he takes a paycut(in free agency) or a trade in which orlando will force LA to take arenas or turkoglu's HUGE contract(w/c will severely affect LA's payroll in the lux tax plus in acquiring new talent to rebuilt) Unlike with the nets, they can have dwight via trade or free agency(they can offer him max contract if im not mistaken) plus moving to brooklyn NY(big market city) and playing with a top point guard in the league... so seriously though, why would d12 pick la over the nets??

why would the Nets get Howard? isnt the Nets the Team who has that Lopez guy? that guy is a very good center and is younger than Howard i think.

Which Team will have better chances in giving Howard a ring and please lets base everything on current Team performance and composition, not any other conditions that are not happenning yet. Please take out luxury taxes, salary cap and all also, lahat naman ng team owners can make things happene whne they need it.

I believe its the Lakers and the Celts too perhaps.

i will reserve my reaction to this when they finally get the Championship ring, until then, Miami remains a strong team to me with their big three playing big as expected enjyoying a great season and is right on target for the championship this year. When they get the ring this year, they become the best this season. If they get another championship next year, they become repeating champions, if they win a threepeat, they become a great team.

why would they not want d12?? he's the best center in the league today.. orlando would get lopez/humpries via trade if ever... better package(youth/potential/cheaper) than bynum and gasol that la has to offer..

but in reality it IS part of how the nba trading works, you have to factor ALL of these things..

as far as I know, both D12 and CP3 have a year left in the contacts in their current teams. They will be free agents after the 2011-2012 season; not yet next season... ;D

I read a statement from the Magic earlier that they're not willing to trade Howard no matter what, so a Melo type midseason-trade may be out of the question. Howard also has a player option after the end of the 2011-12 season which he won't likely exercise. Ultimately, he could end up anywhere in 2012, it's all up to his discretion.

Some possible destinations in 2012-13:

LA Lakers: Lakers can still acquire Howard (max contract and everything) through a sign and trade. Orlando may change their minds about refusing to trade Howard once the writings on the wall that he wants to go elsewhere. It's still better to get value for him through a trade than to lose him for nothing in free agancy.

Celtics: Plenty of cap space

Miami: not possible, unless they trade one of their max contract players or Howard agrees to sign for the MLE.

Nets: Plenty of cap space if they don't acquire any free agents this coming offseason or if Deron opts out. The Nets may also soon move to Brooklyn which is a positive.
*About BLo, he's a player who was horribly exposed as soft and a very poor rebounder (6.0 rpg) this year. He's not as untouchable as one might think.

The LA and NY media are notorious for hyping up imaginary rumors and trades that some major superstar will end up in their city. So be prepared for a barrage of fictitious rumors and speculations that D12 will end up in LA, or CP3 to NY in the upcoming season.

these are the reasons that makes it more plausible for d12 to go to the nets and even to the celtics rather than going to la... other teams can make better offers to orlando than what lakers can/could.. even the bulls can make a better offer.. imagine drose and d12!! :o :o

well i guess that's what the media is for... making claims but cant concretely back it up..
