kung yung era nila mj,ron harper, pippen, rodman, longley against the heat ang sinasabi mo,tingin ko kaya sila ng bulls.compare mo na lang yung starting five.tapos off the bench sila kukoc saka steve kerr.i mean im pretty sure pippen can limit lbj, jordan can guard wade.lbj can guard pippen but i'm not sure if they can handle "his airness",plus yung productivity ni kukoc off the bench.

eh yun lakers 2002-2003...vs bulls...

Shaq retires!

If you are looking for something unique that he accomplished, consider this: O’Neal averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds during 13 separate seasons. No other player was able to accomplish that level of consistent excellence.
I'd consider him the most dominating center ever to handle a basketball. Although I haven't watched the careers of wilt and bill, if they played in shaq's era I still think they would be eaten alive.

Ever wonder how it would be like if Shaq could shoot at least 70% of his FT :-)

i dont know about that....sir ,are u referring to mj and his bulls competing against the top teams now?

Yup.  Any Bulls era can compete against any top teams now.  Whether it's the Cartwright/Grant/Pippen Bulls or the Longley/Rodman/Harper teams.  Jordan would have a field day!  With no hand-checking and and lots of touch fouls, finesse players would have a field day....Pippen, Harper....even Kukoc!

Rodman can basically guard anybody on the floor.  And with Jordan, Pippen and Rodman...you have the 3 best defenders in NBA history on the floor at the same time.  You can even add Harper and Randy Brown as above average defenders.

I remember this quote from Shaq :-)
Quote
The situation: O'Neal misses 10 free throws in a nine-point Lakers loss and is asked why he can't "conquer" his free-throw demons.

The Shaq Smack: "I think everything happens for a reason. With my game being the way it is, if I did shoot 80 percent, I'd be a harder person to deal with. It just keeps me humble. Just imagine me in my game shooting the same percentage that Reggie Miller shoots. I wouldn't even talk to you guys because I wouldn't have to."

how can you say that if you have'nt seen the wilt and bill?i think olajuwon in his prime would eat shaq alive.

The Jordan (prime) led bulls could very well contend with teams today and in any era for that matter. How I wish I could see them them battle Miami.

That already happened during the finals.  Though Shaq wasn't in his prime yet.   ;D  It was his 2nd season.

olajuwon is great but against shaq I don't think so. the argument exists only because of the finals where the rockets beat orlando. shaq played great against hakeem unfortunately for orlando they have Nick Anderson 4straight misses on ft. WTF :-)

im pretty sure olajuwon will put shaq to sleep in their primes.shaq played well but hakeem played better in that final series basing on their statisctics.also hakeem in his prime has to contend with ewing, and robinson in their prime.swerte si shaq wala syang nakasabayan na magaling na center nung prime nya except for tim duncan who matched him well.

i would pick shaq over hakeem any day. special specimen si shaq imo. freakish athleticism for his size, which you cannot teach. at par din naman basketball IQ nya sa mga greats. nevermind the ft since mataas nman fg % nya.

The Super Teams of the 80's (76ers, Lakers, Pistons and Celtics) were far grittier on defense than any of the 90's or 2000's champion teams.

Hence, I feel that they would have been an impossible match up for any contemporary teams.

Offenses and defensive patterns now are far more complex, though.

Relatively high-scoring half, which bodes well for Dallas.

But after his Game 1 4Q heroics and his play so far in Game 2, Dwyane Wade is slowly proving he can be the Finals MVP (assuming Miami wins it all).  If that happens, wouldn't that just rile up the King?  :)
We deserve better.
