Since I don't really have an emotional connection to this year's Finals, I'm moving on.

Interesting side note.

the Curse of the Clown Ring.

The Lakers designed their 2002 championship ring in homage to the triangle offense. Even though it was a tribute to Tex Winter's system, Tex joked that it looked like the face of a clown, with the purple triangle in the middle representing the nose and the three triangle-shaped diamonds that surrounded it looking like the eyes and mouth.

Jackson wore the '02 ring when L.A. lost to San Antonio in 2003, he wore it when L.A. lost to Detroit in 2004 for his first Finals loss, he wore it in 2006 when L.A. lost to Phoenix in Game 7 of the first round after blowing a 3-1 series lead, he wore it in 2007 in another first-round loss to Phoenix and he wore it in 2008 when L.A. lost in the Finals again, this time to Boston.

Guess what ring PJ wore during Game 4 of the Dallas Lakers series.

Miami fan here through and through! i'm still proud of them kahit hindi sila nagchampion this year!

marami pa rin silang na-accomplish despite a lot of people saying na hindi sila makaka-abot ng Finals. they still proved a lot of critics wrong.

watch out next year (kung meron)

dapat kunin na ng Miami si JKidd since tapos na contract nya with the Mavs hehehe

Nakakaiyak yung celebration ng Mavs. They're like one of those teams from those underdog sports movies. Plenty of washed-up/disgraces/aging players finally getting their due. I think even Chris Bosh was touched coz' he was holding back his tears as he was walking to the locker room.

i normally follow nba only during the playoffs.

recently ko lang narinig na nasabi ni pat riley ang balak nya na magkaron ng heat dynasty.

at ganun din ang sinabi ko dito na isang tingin ko pa lang kay pat riley, ala-LA showtime dynasty ang balak ni gekko/pomada-king.

NO WAY PAT ! iisa lang ang kareem-magicJ-jamesworthy LA-SHOWTIME DYNASTY.
