ano ba ang dapat ayusin kapag ganun? minsan meron minsan wala. mahigpit naman ang kabit ng wires. sa ground kaya?

The potentiometer/Linear Taper also called (DACT volume control, or step volume control) is already busted. Electronics repair shop can change it.

Does your amp or receiver have remote control, is the unwanted sound still present even if you use the RC?

if this is the round volume knob, sabi sa forums na gamitan daw ng deoxit spray (i haven't personally tried it yet)

wd40 is messy. use contact cleaner to spray the potentiometer while turning it several times. obviously you need to access the amp's internals to spray in the potentiometer's contact areas aka wipers.

My subs volume control had the same problem. I replaced the potentiometer, it was a 20 peso part :-). mas mahal pa yung contact cleaner hehehe

napuno lang ng carbon yun...

actually... you can clean it by pressing it clockwise and counterclockwise very often fast then slow
but of course with the POWER OFF para walang effect sa VOLUME...
para lang malinis yung mga contacts nung "potentiometer"...

hmmm... brings back the good old college days... electronics engineering 101

bro Eric, agree ako kay sir markcrenz ...the oil residue might cause resistance of some sort kaya contact cleaner na lang siguro.. if your potentiometer (c/o Master J: variable voltage divider

) has large opening (upper area and underneath) pwede din lighter fluid.. dripping fluid will carry downwards the carbon/dirt... just be sure you have absorbent cloth or tissue paper underneath so that dirty fluid will not touch other parts.. lighter fluid evaporates kaya usually walang residue ..btw, do not light a cigarette, baka masunog yung amp

this is what i did and so far, nawala si garalgal

bago ako nagpost na try ko na kaso since not sure, di ko tinuloy

ito po s'ya:
