Guys newbie here finally purchased this unit last night..question im using a version 8.8 how come most of my movie titles dosen't have a picture cover....just askin thanks

You need to put the movie inside a folder and together with the picture of the movie.

I dunno why pero the BT client of my unit is now uber consistent. I can now queue downloads and it finishes the downloads before my expected ETA's. Not bad considering na it can throttle up to the speeds of my current ISP. I'm at plan 990 and my dl's reach 54kBps which translates to 432kbps, way above the prescribed 384kbps of my subscription plan and very near 512kbps if ever they upgraded the speeds to 512.

Still on 6.23AW (After downgrading from 8.95R). If it stays this way, di muna ako mag uupgrade.

What's the difference with the new version, Version:V8.96?

Coz the ones they're selling on the other website is still FW ver. 6.23A...

Stable na po ba yung mga latest FW natin for E8HD?

And question na rin po, bakit parang ang bagal ng pag download using Bit Torrent.
Most of the time nag 00.00 pag yung download nya. May fix po ba tyo dito?Im using
6.23 FW.

Go to setup ----> misc ---> usb upgrade

i already did nothing happened still have 8.8. After using usb upgrade it turn off for awhile and turn on again but still 8.8

Yung bagal or bilis nasa provider or uploader yan. You can pm kompressor of Pinoydvd. ok naman sa kanya.

Let me check on the 8.96fw yet...before you upgrade. Their might have no difference with your 8.80

Also, let me share my observation after 3 days of viewing i notice sometimes during browsing of titles in preview form in some instances it hang up..basically all works well except that and the upgrading problem wish interface and Jukebox can be up to par with xtreamer pro..

FW v8.96 looks different. Navigation is kinda similar to the 6 series FWs, and the response is quicker than v8.95.

Sir Gary,

The Samba server feature isn't working in my unit (it hasn't been working since I moved to the 8-series FWs). Is there something that I should do, aside from turning on the Samba feature?

Hello,
Just found this forum.

Yesterday, I upgraded to V8.96.
It is faster, and the search function has been restored. Everything works OK.
But...
When I power-up I get a message:"HDD partition error. Can't auto mount HDD...Please Format HDD...etc".
When I click Cancel, I find everything normal - HDD is detected/I can scan/search/play etc.

Anyone faced this problem with V8.96 ? How to fix this message?

Can someone give me the latest V8,96 FIRmWARE COPY.

Downloading it to measy website take time, kahit overnight di kaya, sobrang congested.
3 days na akong nag do-download using different option and computers but no luck.

Pa copya naman po ung new firmware V8.96. Please give me link....

Binabad ko na rin to kagabi using 2 computers wala pa sa kalahati na download until now.

What's happening with Measy website!!!

Just updated to 8.96 from 8.95R

Initial observations are

- faster in starting to play files.
- option for file list/preview/recently added/alphabetical viewing is back (and memorizes which option you left it at)
- minor changes on gui
- file manager is back as well.

Seems like a better FW compared to 8.95R. I have not checked if the unit turns on if the power goes out and comes back.

go to save as then leave the folder open do not click ok. That is what I do. I leave it open for a few hours then click ok afterwards and file is completely downloaded.

Ako Ive done the usual method of downloading, save link to folder. Mas mainam lang talaga ang trapik ngayon compared yesterday, baka mas kumonte ang nag d-download ngayon, ung sakin natapos ko ngayon, kahapon palaging 35% lang nahinto na. To tell you third attempt ko ngayon, buti nlang natapos. Subukan mo ulit bro Potek. Baka maging successful ang download mo ngayon.

Did not get that error as I do not have an internal HDD connected to it yet. Puro external drives palang gamit ko sa Measy.

email support from measy takes a long time. Around a week or two before they answer. Ask sir Garfield he is prompt to reply questions regarding his products.

I was finally able to check if 8.96 has had the power on issue when power comes back from an outage.

And the answer is, the issue is still there. No big. Hopefully it will get fixed later on. It's just a very minor issue anyway.
