thanks po sir gary, so far oks naman ang v9.02 mabilis, nice gui, looking forward for a better firmware in the future sana maayos nila ung subtitle bug.

Haha! Didn't wait for your post Sir bukoy. Just upgraded to 9.02 and I can see now what you mean by the subtitle issue. The subtitles only display when you go to the subtitle menu (sometimes not). Well, I guess I'm just gonna have to wait for the fix in the next firmware before I get to watch my Jap/Chinese titles again.

The GUI looks better though!

I am not sure as I only downgraded to 8.95 without forcing downgrade. I would assume that it is ok as well to go back to 6.23 from 9.02 but better to ask Gary regarding this he should be more knowledgable about this.

guys, just got mine yesterday, ask ko lang if its normal that everytime i connect the the power adaptop of the unit to the power outlet, the unit automatically turns on (blue lit), and not in stadby mode (red lit)? thanks...

Yes it's normal. So u can press the remote or the unit to standby.

Matagal ko ng Sina-suggest to sa measy na by default, naka standby mode siya (RED) when connected sa AC.... May issue/conflict kaya sa hardware kaya di nila magawa ito sa firmware?

bile nalang kayo ng plug adapter ung switchable para i-turn off nyo once you plug para di kaagad pumasok ung kuryente, then turn on if you want to use the unit. Wala pa bang bagong firmware, yung corrected na lahat nung bug sa subtitle, 6channel issue, standby mode etc.

V9.02

Now there is no difference between 'File' menu & 'Movies' or 'Photos' etc. All have the same interface.

Also, search function is no longer present in v9.02.

Why has Measy removed this useful function ??

i personally don't see the point of plugging-in issue. Most of my appliances (tv, dvd, and measy) are always on standby unless i will be out for several days. So i just need to press the power button if i want to use those. Yun nga lang ung tv at dvd ko standby agad pag saksak.

yun unless kung ayaw nyo magastos sa kuryente. Kaya talaga merong standby para dun talaga sya otherwise on/off na lang sana yung ginawa nila.

The best solution so far is to buy on/off plug like suggested above.

Hi Potek,

By Search, I mean File Search .

In 9.01, by pressing Menu on the remote, there was a 'Search' menu item.

On selecting this, a virtual keyboard appeared on the TV screen.

By inputting a few characters of the filename, One could locate the file.

Now that function is absent in 9.02.

I'm using bayantel and Destiny Cable. Both can access the Measy site.
