May nasirang link ang PLDT nung lumindol. Ewan ko kung na-affect tayo, di ko rin kasi mabuksan. :(

Circuits going to US via Japan maybe affected due to the earthquake. China route was no affected but might encounter slowdown due to diversion of affected routes.  ;)

I'm using bayantel and Destiny Cable. Both can access the Measy site.

Both are PLDT's customer.  ;D

Nope. not yet fixed. Samba/BT function lang ata inayos nila. Though I don't use them. Wait mode ulet for the fw to fix the subtitle issue.

What do you mean does not work? you mean does not exit the menu? or really does not work at all?

Subtitle...It do exit the menu but still won't show while watching.

Measy already knows about it and will fix it soon.

that is correct.  it won't exit if you press the subtitle button unless you press another button like audio.
to put it simply, the subtitle does not work on 9.02.

its bad as it is that Master Audio is not yet supported by measy... but for the subtitle not to work... its beginning to be a pain in the "arse".

for peeps that doesn't need master audio or the receiver can't process it then the measy is fine but if you expect to use master audio... you better look for another NMT... its taking them a while to figure out how to pass it through correctly.   I commend them for being active on forums and monitoring user feedback.
BUT I do hope they are considering fixing the master audio passthrough as well.  (DTS-HD and TrueHD = measy CAN NOT pass this through yet... while their competitors can... x-treamer pro and mede8er... my friends NMTs... ... oh well i get what i paid for)

Hmmm... I've been using the "Return" button even before to exit the subtitle menu. Didn't know I can use it to exit.  :)

Well, I've not much complaint yet for the Measy as it does it's job for me so far - play movies.  ;D

guys, pa help naman... my setup is ganito, yung video out ng measy connected to tv via hdmi, yung audio out ng measy connected to htib via optical, tapos sa audio setting ng measy ay naka set sa RAW ang SPDIF, the problem is walang sound (so most likely my htib does not support AAC), pero pag ang video file is with an AC3 audio, may sound. ngayon, how can i change the audio track, which is AAC to AC3 na hindi mawawala yung channel mapping. thanks.

I have the same problem right now with the firmwares above 8.95

You can:
1) You either downgrade to 8.95 or below
2) Convert 6ch AAC to 6ch AC3
3) Convert 6ch AAC to 2ch AAC

Personally, downgrading to 8.95 and below would be the easiest. (9.01 and above firmware is easy to downgrade, just put in the firmware you want to downgrade to and just use USB upgrade. DOn't need to force downgrade when using 9.01 and 9.02)

I currently convert my 6ch AAC audio to 2ch AAC so I wont be hindered as much. It's a lot of work to convert my whole library though.

I use foobar to convert.

the 6.23 fw is pretty much the most bug free FW. Your call! Feel free to join us :) Newer version is only for E8HD popup type model. baka offline yung peers mo, or having slow connection.

You can purchase wifi dongle ng Measy from EYO (3rd flr Vmall). No need to format the hdd.

Just got my measy today. So far so good. :)

Although I'm having issues when setting the unit to HDMI auto or 1080p. Audio gets choppy but video is good. I'm using the unit connected directly to an AOC 42 inch LCD tv via HDMI cable. Texted sir Garfield re: the issue and he called me on my mobile to assist! and this was already around 10:15pm. now THAT'S customer service!  :D Although I have yet to resolve the issue, I'm very satisfied with Measy's support.

I'll keep you updated sir. Thanks for the assistance.

Hooray! it's fixed! Weird solution but all I did was to move the HDMI cable from Port3 (side) to Port1 (back) and voila! we have 1080p @ 50hz. 60hz, I get intermittent video and choppy audio, so 50hz must be the TV's limit. Hi Def viewing, here I come!  ;D

Anybody experienced trying to play .m4v files? I downloaded a couple of movies yesterday and hndi ma play ng measy ko. Audio only, no picture. Am running v8.95. I tried playing both movies directly on my tv's usb port, nag play naman ng maayos.

Hello to everybody here!

I was reading all this 20 pages (Ufff!) and learned a lot about my E8HD-Player.

So I registered myself here, because it seems that I am here on the correct place.

Unfortunately is the webpage from MEASY down, after I told Tim (The Manager from MEasy) that their Webpage is crap and the Forum is Sh.t!

It seems that the team from MEasy is not the most professionell team, but I think they are good guys, because they are always willing to learn.

Please can anybody please give me the newest Firmware for my current (I kill all Sambas! Only the sport shoes from adidas samba can survive, they are great!) Samba dancing Firmware 8.5.

My Email is [email protected]

I told Tim from MEasy to include a new option:

Tim agreed to have in the the future Firmwares a option to lock and hide folders from harddiscs. This is in my opinion very important, because sometimes the player is in the living room, and the 7 year old daughter have the chance to watch educational movies about sex and other sensitive stuff. The HDs are nowadays so big, that it is easy to mix everything, and some people are lazy to change always the HDs.

Nice greetings to everybody here!
When I was reading all this posts, I had a feeling that it is a big family. Specially nice greetings to the Papa here, garfield03, hehe

Hi guys.  I have an E8HD Measy too but I "retired" it after only a few weeks.  My plan was to use for our second TV but I later decided to just buy another XTreamer PRO.  I'm now selling it but seeing the fan club here I might just give it another try.  A couple of questions:

1. What's the best firmware version you would recommend?  I upgraded it to the latest but I wasn't really happy with it.

2. Is there a way to install your own applications like with the XTreamer?

3. What's the best way to integrate it into our home network?

Answer:
1. If you don't do BT download direct. Stick with 6.23AW or 8.95R Firmware

2. Sorry can't install your own app.

3. Use the LAN connector at the backof the unit.
