How do you set the subs to show always, it's a pain when you're watching TV Series??? ???

If you gonna download .srt file, better test it first in a computer if its properly syncronized to your movie file, kung match ang subtitle change the file name of the .srt file identical to the filename of your movie in-order that the Measy player could recognize/detect the subtitle file, just sharing

If file is in mkv format and the subs are in the file as well then you must have the mkv file remuxed to have subtitle always show.

That way whenever you play the mkv file the subtitle will always show up.

Thank you for the input, but that will be even more PITA as I have tons of TV Series and if I remuxed it, that will take ages.

I think that there should be an option to set the subs to on or off system wide :(
Going back to 8.95R again :(

Upgraded to 9.04 but I didn't find the BT client to be stable since it stops from time to time. Is this the same case with 8.80? 8.95R also has the same issue with the BT client where the HDD "disappears" from the selection when adding torrent files and the status in the main page shows "stopped".

Will be forcing again a downgrade to 6.23AW. The BT and samba client of 6.23AW never let me down.

I have bug issues with 8.95R. I just downgraded from 9.04 because some of my HD movies that has 6.0ch audio does not play properly when I just use a regular stereo plug on my TV going to the measy.

But right now, i am a little annoyed with the auto scanning of hard drives whenever I start the player. I tried turning off the auto scan feature but still the player auto scans the hard drive.

Any fix on this one? I have FW 8.80, will it be better than 8.95R?

Why don't you try re flashing the 8.95R again and see if it fixes it. Would you mind sharing you 8.80FW so that I can try it also.

Long time..no log.

Still enjoying my Measy Player in Marathon. With the built-in fan, heat is not a problem. I Love the Cover Art too. Upgraded from 6.23AW to FW 9.04

Cheers sir garfield...

Downgraded to 6.23AW from 9.04 and my BT client is back on happy times. I also managed to get rid of my noisy fan problem by spraying contact cleaner in the fan's bearing area (I guess something got stuck in the sleeve bearing area) and now my unit is noise free. Still, I'll start searching for a same sized ball bearing fan.

Gary,

I guess my warranty is voided eh?  :)

As for me, the most stable FW for overall use is still 6.23AW (I don't have a download link of 8.80 industrial so I can't give my opinions regarding that FW). Tried 8.95R, 9.02 and 9.04 but all my needs still drive me back to 6.23AW. (Subtitles, playback, BT and Samba)

Did you get the right fw? I assume your model is the one with pop-up tray. If all is correct, just bring it to your seller. They fix it for you.
