Hi All,
Got 3 problem with FW9.06.
1. Youtube cannot work.
2. HDMI RAW and HDMI LPCM sounds the same. (E8HD --- hdmi --->TV ---(optical)--->AV)
3. SPDIF RAW not working each time after reboot. (Had to go to audio config and reselect SPDIF RAW to take effect) (E8HD ---(hdmi)--->TV ; E8HD ---(optical)--->AV)

Any solution ?

in your #2, cant you connect E8HD ---> HDMI --> AVR -->HDMI --> TV? this is the best config so you let your AVR decode HD audio signal. if you cant wire as such e8HD ---> optical ->> AVR

Hi,
I am using e8HD ---> optical ->> AVR configuration now.
My STB and PS3 --HDMI--> TV --optical --> AVR. Had to manually switch the optical cable from e8HD and TV (back & forth)

Problem I am facing now is, each time I reboot, the audio is back to stereo. Need to reselect SPDIF RAW from AUDIO configuration to get DTS or Dolby.

I have tried 9.04 and 9.06. Same result. Already feedback to my Supplier. Accroding to him, Measy 'will' release a new FW 'soon' but no date.

Any way can set the default viewer for movie list? Thumblist instead of preview.

am looking only at your #2 concern for now, you cant do much if you dont HDMI since the optical cant handle the bandwidth needed for native TrueHD and DTSMA audio track without any loss so it instead sends another audio stream format, thus no diff between settings you mentioned.

btw,for saving defaults i had no problems with Measy X6

send an email to [email protected] and let them know the issue. if you are lucky in the next firmware upgrade they can fix it.

Update lang to users:

My internal cooling fan already died (super bagal ikot as in you can see the blades). As of writing I'm still looking for a same sized replacement pero I'm having challenges kasi maliit talaga siya. I remediated it for the meantime by externally mounting (screwed from the outside) a video card cooling fan (hindi talaga kasya sa loob).

Any ideas where we can source a brushless dc fan that small? Mas ideal sana kung ball bearing, especially for users like me who leave it powered on 24x7 because of its bit torrent client.

Thanks! I'll call you soon pag nagawi ako sa QC. I'll probably need 2 spares. Pinutol ko na kasi yung connector ng sa akin coz I needed to tap the pansamantagal DC fan. Bugbog talaga kasi sa gamit yung sa akin.

Sell mo e8hd mo, 1073 chip yan, 1185 naman Si x6.
For As low as 5k meron ka na x6. It's good enough starter hd media player, mas responsive sa remote , 1000baseT, USB 3.0 slave, backlit remote,

Bakit wala yung BTtorrent? nasa Apps ba yun? Wala dito sa apps, nakita ko sa manual may neighborhood web, naka ON naman yung BT options. May internal hdd naman at naformat na, at naka connect sa router+internet? Naka advertise may torrent daw wala naman yata, nag sisi yata ako sana yata yung cinematube nalang.

how good is the x6? how does it compare to the kaiboer H1073C+? by the way, i already have a 3.5" 1.5TB HDD. do i have to reformat it prior to installation on the x6? thanks in advance
