for ps3...

being more of a console gamer than carlo^^^

played rounds of super street fighter 4 last night and there was no input lag or ghosting! pictures naman at game mode was very close or equal to the V20 running on the same mode. i.r was still present but like what my hubby said, it did not develop as quickly as the v20 ;)

True ;) Pc games muna tayo - Napoleon Total War and Starcraft ;)

This is good news :)

The X20 seems like a re-packaged C10 minus the color management feature, gaming on the C10 was a pleasure so we expect the same performance here.

DVD playback : Using a Pioneer 420DV player, using HDMI cable, viideo upscaled to 1080p, Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. Picture was quite impressive.

I'll try a dvd with humans in it tomorrow, hehe.

Could you kindly post a pic wide enough to show the TV frame and some walls/floors during daylight?  Im hoping to gauge how reflective it would be when watching during lunch.

Thanks!

Yeah that's exactly the condition I want to see this TV perform under.  Our living and dining areas in Pasig are very very very very brightly lit.  ;)  Thanks in advance.

The shot i took by the way was taken this morning with the sun shining, but the room only has minimal sunlight that goes in.

Hehehe.  Pero kung talagang gusto ng plasma and maliwanag talaga yung dining area all the time, walang ibang plasma model na suitable kung hindi yung V20 nga.

Hmmm.  Toshiba Regza?   ;)

Just take a look at how reflective the X20 is, you could see the background of the room and even my wife (comitatus) as she takes a pic of the unit.

But let's not put a bump stop there, the pq is something to behold!

More impressions this week:

Carlo...we have never met before.  Am hoping your reflection in the screen has been altered and you do not actually have those features or a hairy dog like furry chest.  You are scary dude!  ;D

Francis when shopping for a 50 inch unit some weeks back we were shocked at the glare or should I say reflection of the above unit.  It pretty much convinced us  to get unit the older 50c10.

Dannie, I noticed this too, but I knew that the room we were gonna put it in has a very controllable lighting environment, the shot I took is the brightest the room will be during the morning.

Carlo777 & comitatus , thanks for the this tv's feedback, got myself a 50" from vic yesterday.

one observation though, mounting the tv sucks bigtime ..
the ports at the back are flat and not "carved" (sorry cant think of a better word).
you'll need to use the plastic "filler" between the screw and tv to make up for the almost flat back surface.
i ended up using it on my low profile tv rack.   :-[
hirap pala masanay sa wallmount parang ang baba masyado ng nakapatong lang sa rack.  :)

btw special thanks to vic for saving me the hassle of selling my tv online before getting a new tv.
one stop buy and sell.  ;D
and thanks for reasonably pricing my tv   ;)

shouldn't be a problem, but watch broadcast TV on it at least an hour a day cguro if your gonna play for four hours.

hi comitatus, once nai-uwi naman ang tv OK na.  sya nalang ang center of attention ko.  ;D
still a plasma fan  :)
btw you were right about the reflections, kaya once i switch on the htpc patay lahat ng ilaw and dimmed ang room ko via window "covers".. :D :D
noticable lang naman ang reflections sa dark scene, at pag di mo naman hinanap di mo rin mapapansin  :)
