Topic: How to make the sound come out from PS3/TV to HTIB

Hello. recently bought Samsung Series 5 Led at 40" first HDTV kasi it comes with the free HT-C555.

Ask ko lang how do you make the sound of my ps3/TV itself to come out of the HTIB? (will use it for bluray kasi sana) thanks!

hi bro!
for the PS3 you can use the HDMI/optical out for the audio going to your htib. just set the sound settings on you PS3 to output via HDMI or whichever you want.

how many audio inputs does your htib have? for the tv audio going to your htib you can use either analog rcas or if you want the optical outputs if it has one.

since htib gamit mo and wala naman hdmi input and htib, you have to use optical cable(TOSLINK) so you can enjoy DTS. pede din hdmi thru your tv, then TOSLINK from tv to your htib. pero there are some tv's that can't decode DTS, so if you're not sure, just go straight from your ps3 to htib using optical cable:

hehehe but seriously, optical cable is your best shot if your htib has an optical input jack.

So technically, HDTV to PS3 (using HDMI) and Optical cable from htib to PS3? Tapos ayusin nalang settings sa XMB na it should come from optical cable not HDMI ang sounds?

yup pwde sya sir na sabay nya output. if you want sa avr...then mute or zero mo nalng yung volume sa tv kasi minsan hindi sabay yung output hehe
