Any suggestions as replacement for the "not-sure-when-to-be-available" LG 42LD460 units? Panny or Toshi na lang kaya? Pag next week wala pa rin stock, lipat na ako ng channel... 
Not too long ago (mga 3 weeks ago), I was in the same predicament (ibang size lang nga, pero LG LD 460 model din). Hintay ng hintay, tawag ng tawag. Nag-set na ako ng deadline at lilipat na talaga ako if hindi pa dumating, compromise na kung compromise (kasi naman naka-setup na yung paglalagyan niya with measurements, etc). I checked the alternatives (toshiba, panasonic plasma, samsung, sony), their respective specifications, price, etc. Pero in terms of "value" (kanya-kanya na sa PQ), LG LD 460 pa rin. Yun lang feature na "usb divx HD" is huge (parang may free Network Media Tank ka). Buti na lang dumating nung very day na ginawa kong deadline, or else ibang brand na talaga.
In short, it's worth the wait naman (or "the juice is worth the squeeze").
Pero if you want to look into alternatives, check / browse the latest issue of HWM (Hardware Magazine, yung local edition). They compared LG LD 460, Samsung c550, Sony EX400, and a Panasonic (forgot the model) in sizes 42 and up. I detect some bias from the reviewer though, dahil medyo hindi "tugma" yung breakdown niya dun sa final verdict. Oh well, check it out nalang din.
