Saw this. Albert Martinez can direct. This is just too tastefully done.It didn't need the present-day scenes with Dolphy, Liza Lorena and Manny Pangilinan. I prefer this to be sexier, sweatier, hornier. I mean, this is basically a movie about a woman whose fate was dictated by her insatiable passions so it's natural to expect a little bit of steam, not classy-looking scenes that can very well be something that was shot for Rogue Magazine. What I got was a tastefully done costume drama. I predict this to be a critical success just for the fact that it looks and sounds expensive, the plot's more ambitious than your typical MMFF fare.
