Mas maaga nga this year nag open ang bestbuy stores sa ibang states. Sa New Hampshire 5pm ng Thursday nag open, around 7pm na nga kami dumating sa store pero may pala pa rin sa labas. After 20min pa kami nakapasok sa loob, sold out na kaagad yung mga touch screen laptops.

Anyone still waiting for their Amazon Black Friday BD purchases via standard int'l shipping? More than two months na, so far isa pa lang out of the 5 packages ang dumating. First time na umabot ng ganitong katagal

It has been a while since I used international shipping...kulang kulang 6 years or so na yata. But if I recall, may estimate of delivery nilalagay si Amazon. Pag hindi naabot yun, mag email ka. They will recommend to wait another 2 weeks. If after two weeks wala pa rin, email again. Then they let you choose between a replacement or a refund.

International shipping from Amazon US really sucks. . I had one package that was delivered 3 months after the estimated time of delivery. Of course, I was refunded with that amount when I complain and had it charge again when I receive the item. .

Yes, I'm aware of this kaya lang hindi naman kasi umaabot ng more than two months ang packages in the past. Expected delivery dates of the packages should be within the 1st and 2nd week of January e nasa 2nd week na tayo ng Feb. sa Monday. I'm giving another month before I e-mail Amazon US.

@Columbia, so bale umabot sayo ng 4 months? In my experience with Amazon mapa-US or UK, matagal na yung 6 weeks, or 2 weeks after the promised date.

By air or sea route ba ang USPS shipping ng Amazon? Kasi kung by sea hindi naman na congested ang Manila port natin kagaya ng mga nagdaang buwan para ma-delay nang matagal. Natiyempo kaya sa heavy volume dahil sa holiday season? Parang hindi rin, kasi early arrival or 2 weeks before the promised date dumating yung isang package (not necessarily ito yung naunang kong naorder).

I quit having my Amazon US items delivered here. For Amazon UK, items were delivered late if ordered during the holiday. As of now, am still waiting for a package (Amazon UK) that had an ETA of Jan 15. .

Amazon UK's shipping is much faster compared to its US counterpart. Sometimes they send the package directly via Royal mail, but other times Royal mail uses a third party consignee in Muntinglupa (the name escapes me right now

) which in turn sends it to me via Philpost. Walang storage charge ang post office if the package arrives via the latter.

My experience with Amazon Customer Service was through e-mails only. There was an instance many years ago I got irritated because my queries were not being handled properly- all I got were generic or canned responses. It took several exchanges before I got a satisfactory answer. During that time IIRC hindi Pinoy ang mga nakaharap ko kasi Indian names ang ginagamit nila. But that was before, kaya siguro lumipat na ang BPO ng Amazon dito sa Pilipinas

Update: I was able to chat (it's faster this way) with an Amazon customer care rep. yesterday. She was equally dumbfounded as I was when she tracked and found out the remaining packages were still with IMEX. IMEX said the goods will be delivered today so I will call the post office later. The rep immediately refunded all the shipping charges for the long delay and promised to check on me again next week if the packages were delivered indeed.
BTW, I asked her if she is, by any chance a Filipina- she said is not, she's a European

Hindi ko lang alam kung bawal sa kanila na sabihin kung ano ang nationality nila.

Here's the latest:

I finally got the remaining batches of Black Friday week packages more than six weeks after Amazon's original expected delivery dates. The Phlpost clerk who handed my goods told me they had a severe backlog of packages including letters and Christmas cards from abroad since the start of the Holiday season though she can't pinpoint the cause of the delay (IMEX, Phil. customs or Phlpost?)
One thing I did notice was IMEX (or is it Amazon?) is now using yellow jiffy bags for orders sent in multiple packages instead of the usual sturdy brown boxes that Amazon is known for. Not exactly the ideal packaging material, but I couldn't be happier here. Despite the long overdue, I got my BDs in perfect condition, it's S/H charges- free, plus I was given another $5 promotional gift card after I notified Amazon the ordered items finally arrived

Question na rin. Since nag taas na to ₱10,000 ang duty free na packages, shipping na lang ba babayaran if mag-order sa Amazon kung less than ₱10,000 ang order or may other charges pa to consider?
