I was told this is the new Ovation.  Rebranded na raw.  If true, this should be the same group as Astone.

Got the info in one of the sellers at 3rd floor Virramall.  27k lang for a 42".

any reviews?  am seriously considering the 42in.

thanks

I saw this at SnS being sold for 29K straight cash payment. Very nice image quality. Almost bought it kung hindi lang ako familiar kasi with the brand name. Saka the guy there convinced me to go for a reliable brand LG.

Actually sa US stores (Best Buy etc) madami yang brand na yan. Yan yung mga affordable brands nila versus the Samsung, Sony, Panasonic etc.

There are only a handful of things I like about the US.
One of which is their Customer Protection Policy.

Bulok DTI dito.

i asked mr. google about this brand but he can only find it in tipidpc and sulit. which means it is probably a locally branded oem from china. which means it probably came from the same factory floor as the cdr king branded lcd tv. but its advantage over the cdr king tv is just for a small mark up you'll get 3 years warranty (based on the astone group ad i saw)

You can try searching Ovation. As paolorenzo posted, this is a re-brand of Ovation.

mas nakakatakot kung re-branded. baka may quality issues. they already spent money trying to establish a brand name tapos after gaining some headway bigla nilang papalitan with a very cheesy name.  :-\

Can be. Pero pwede din na the 1st company was bought out by the new one hence the re-brand. Not necessarily about quality issues. Pero a reputable shop like SnS is carrying it. So that should count for something.

Exactly what we are saying about new or unknown brands. Coupled with a not so good consumer power mas mataas ang tingin natin sa risk. Pero we'll never know if we try. Ang isang pwede mong safety net diyan is the shop where you'll buy it. Maganda ba yung after sales ng shop.

Don't quote me yet.  Take it with a grain of salt muna, kasi I can't find it sa Achieva sites (sila distro ng Ovation, Astone, etc).  Kuwentong barbero lang muna...   ;D

Warranty is the real question for most new products out there. ;D

Not necessarily.

LG Electronics used to be called Goldstar before 1997.  The change in name brought with it a new direction in R & D and marketing.

I'm interested in getting one. :)

Kinda OT, i own a Goldstar microwave bought during the 90s and w/c till now, is still working pretty well except for the bulb. Walang mabiling bulb.  ;)

Hello everyone! I am a newbie to this site. Actually just found it yesterday. I saw an online ad of the iStyle 42" LCD TV and was interested to hear feedbacks about this. I am hoping some people have already tested this and to please share your thoughts on the quality and tech specs of this TV. I am really interested in buying it. But since its not really a known brand yet maybe people could shed some light on this.  :) TIA!
