Ako nabasa ko na lahat ng books so far pero nakalimutan ko na kung bakit di kasama ni Melisandre si stannis sa episode 9.
I do remember reading that the maker of wildfire said the wildfire was more potent now because magic had come back to the world (because of the birth of dragons)

from the book, it was Lord Bryce Caron who suggested to Stannis not to include Melisandre in the Battle of Blackwater or else if they won the battle, people will say it was her victory and not his.. in the tv series, it was Davos in episode 5 The Ghost of Harrenhal who suggeted this..

am glad they made this into a series.. if they made this into a movie, am sure madaming mababago sa script.. ok lng un medyo low budget, as long as the essence of the book is there.. good decision in letting GRRM write the episode himself..

am still at Feast of Crows, may A Dance with Dragons pa and 2 more books to come.. i wonder how GRRM will end the series..

Just in case it happens though, he gave the show-runners of the TV show an outline of the rest of the saga. The books have yet to be written but GRRM has outlined all the major things that happen including the ending.

He will also not let anyone else finish the books. Kung ma-ded siya bago matapos niya ang mga books, the TV series will be the one to complete it.

he is now 63 turning 64.. the longest time span for him to write one book to the next is 6 years.. shortest 2 years.. assuming it will take him 6 years to do the next book, that is if he has time, producing/writing for the show at the same time.. hmm, he will be 76 years old by then..  i wish he would be able to write the rest of the books.. ;)

Acting Hand lang naman talaga si Tyrion while Papa Lannister was away diba?  Does this mean the old Lannister will station himself sa Kings Landing instead of warring against the Starks somewhere else?

And Sis Cersei and the jerk-of-the-season Joffrey hate him like plague kaya they wanted him dead diba.

Oh, I wonder if Papa Lannister and Sis are aware that Tyrion is still alive and recuperating?

Emilia Clarke is beautiful but I find myself more attracted to Natalie Dormer ("Margaery Tyrell"). I love her quirky not-so-conventionally hot sexy look.:

Tywin basically hates Tyrrion to a fault.  It was in Tyrrion childbirth that Tywin's wife died...

Half-man! Half-man! Half-man!  ;D

Agree that the action scenes were a bit "small-scale." After movies with awesome siege productions like LOTR and Kingdom of Heaven, maybe my expectations were too high for a TV series. Still awesome though.

Just managed to watch it myself (due to Internet problems). Great episode with movie like quality. Especially when the director is Neil Marshall, director of the Descent, Centurion and Dog Soldiers.

After the NBA Finals, I finally had the time to focus on watching Season 2 of "Game of Thrones". Same wow factor, as usual bitin uli sa sobrang ganda. Matagal na intayan nanaman bago mag start Season 3. 'Yung Spartacus matagal pa din, NBA matagal pa din, Medyo naubusan ata ng magandang papanoorin ngayon?

HBO's "Game of Thrones" has officially announced that its third season will premiere on March 31, 2013.
