Just finished watching the 1st episode of Season 4. didn't realize whose sword was reforged until I googled it. kinda hard to remember those details with the length of time between seasons.

Anyway, Sophie Turner is growing up to be a real headturner. She also adopted the dog playing her direwolf.

Just some GOT trivia:

Swords made of Valyrian steel are lighter, sharper, and harder than ordinary castle forged swords. Only master craftsmen from Valyria knew how to work the material and it is said that they used magic to do so.  But Valyria is long gone, swallowed-up by the earth in a cataclysm known as The Doom more than 300 years ago. As such, Valyrian swords are now ultra rare, highly coveted, and considered ancestral heirlooms in Westeros.

The Starks had their long sword Ice.  Jeor Mormont of Bear Island gave his to Jon Snow, which Jon renamed Longclaw.  Randyll Tarley (Sam's dad) has Heartsbane. The Lannisters had Brightroar but lost it long ago somewhere in Essos.  There are a few more including the dagger Joffrey gave to the catspaw to kill Bran.

Actually, the Purple Wedding is next week na so it's gonna happen sooner.

Awesome. It finally happened. Well, the preview also made it clear but it's awesome to finally see it happen. :D

The books so far haven't revealed who poisoned Joffrey. There are little clues that seem to indicate the involvement somehow of Lady Olena (the Tyrell dragon lady) and/or Petyr Baelish.

Ang mahal naman kasi ng subscription sa HBO...mas mahal pa sa PPV if you account for 3 months of viewing a full season of GOT.

Did he actually do that? I only read the books once, so i could be wrong, but i think he was just "clawing at his throat" -a typical literary expression

A fearful high thin sound emerged from the boy’s throat, the sound of a man trying to suck a river through a reed; then it stopped, and that was more terrible still. “Turn him over!” Mace Tyrell bellowed at everyone and no one. “Turn him over, shake him by his heels!” A different voice was calling, “Water – give him some water!” The High Septon began to pray loudly. Grand Maester Pycelle shouted for someone to help him back to his chambers, to fetch his potions. Joffrey began to claw at his throat, his nails tearing bloody gouges in the flesh. Beneath the skin, the muscles stood out hard as stone. Prince Tommen was screaming and crying.

 ;)
